I can see why the Iranian citizenry does not care for their current system. My recollection of history says the leftists in France allowed the Islamic revolt to brew in that country and when Carter became prez, just let it happen.
Saddam kept them at bay, but we just could not let that happen, so Bush invented fake WMD’s as a ruse to invade Iraq and now Iran owns Iraq. And to frost the cake, obama paid Iran handsomely for their good deeds.
Everything the left touches turns to chaos, whether it be over there or here. They are not picky.

If the claim is true, and if looking for a reason, I suspect it would be found somewhere on the passenger list, among the Iranian passengers. The Mullah’s have never hesitated to use any means to go after any opponents of the regime. No territory in the world have been off limits, and no murderous means have been off limits. Yes, they have always been willing to kill innocents when killing someone they have targeted.

BTW, remember the sh*tstorm that ensued when the USS TICONDEROGA shot down that Iranian Airbus full of civilians? Technical glitches happen especially when there’s zero time for human intervention. The Iranians would naturally be reticent to admit to committing essentially the same error.
