WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Groups of protesters took to the streets in Washington and other U.S. cities on Saturday to condemn the air strike in Iraq ordered by President Donald Trump that killed Iranian military commander Qassem Soleimani and Trump’s decision to send about 3,000 more troops to the Middle East.
“No justice, no peace. U.S. out of the Middle East,” hundreds of demonstrators chanted outside the White House before marching to the Trump International Hotel a few blocks away.

Good point. Two months ago these same people wanted us to stay in Syria and kill soldiers either under the command of Qasem Soleimani or directly supported by him and Iran. Less than a month ago their fellow liberals were attacking Tulsi Gabbard for even meeting with Assad in Syria - in part because he is a close ally of Qasem Soleimani who used QUDS forces to attack his opponents in Syria.
It doesn't matter what Trump, or any Republican does. The left is always going to be against them even if it means siding with terrorists, tyrants, and despots who would kill them all if they lived in a place like Iran.
Nothing spells grass roots like identical pre-printed signs with the classic communist slogans on them.
So they gave new taunts to the dolts who were yelling about impeachment. Big deal.

I have been in Washington, D.C. when there really wasn’t much going on in the world and here comes a few hundred people marching down the street.
I think they were protesting prunes or something.

Even fewer in the crowd recall the 1979 takeover of the US embassy in Tehran, and the 444 days our embassy personnel were held hostage while Jimmy Carter dithered.
BUT, an examination of the shouted slogans and the protest signs tells us— the EXACT same groups are CONTROLLING the anti-America protests now, as were in 1979.
The taking of the hostages then, and subsequent overthrow of the Shah, are what set off the chain of events that we are still dealing with today.
