Any suggestions regarding a Year when my Newbie status will expire? 2025? 2040?
To: jmaroneps37
Dear God, please help this lady with her health situation. In Jesuss Name, Amen.

LOL!
People have all sorts of issues. It is an honor to have an opportunity to raise them to God.

Prayers for an insurance problem related to a Knee Replacement? Really?
Uh really...
Praying people ask for prayers from other praying people...It is what we/they do. It is not a matter of you being a “newbie”...it is a matter of being empathetic...
I have seen lots of inconsequential threads that might be more appropriately posted on Entertainment Tonight website, yet they are here...
This was not incorrectly posted to breaking news, is not a duplicate, etc...So what is the problem?

I know this is no life and death but my wife really needs to operation. God has a plan/desire to draw each of us nearer to Him.
Some hear His voice in a tiny whisper and others
in the great roaring of the ocean.
He loves each of us and longs to hear our voices
as we call out to Him be it anguish, thanksgiving or
often in my case rambling nonsense.
Prayers for you and your wife and all those struggling to
sort out their health care needs.

Of course I will pray for you. But you are fortunate to have Ins and two residences. I assume you have ghi or Emblem that don’t approve out of state. Go back to your home state for the surgery. Didn’t Cuomo just sign something about this or was it only for ER?

Get phone number for UnitedHealthcare Medicare insurance. Call UnitedHealthcare and ask for Medicare Advantage sales. We are in Medicare's Open Enrollment Period during January thru March. Your wife can change her Medicare Advantage plan to another UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage plan in your County in NY that has their Passport Program. Once the plan is effective, invoke your Passport Program for your location in FL. Find a network provider to replace the knee. Have them explain. This only works in UnitedHealthcare's Medicare Advantage plans with their Passport benefit. No problem! Prayer answered.

That’s funny. I described to my wife our exchange.
She and I had a good chuckle over it.

My wife was in this situation many years ago. She needed retina surgery, and we lived in extreme NE Texas at the time. We discovered the best guy to do the surgery was in Shreveport, LA. We had the guy in LA do the surgery and worked a deal with BCBS of Texas where they still paid 70 percent even though it was out of state.
