when someone suspicious asks you for directions, never turn away from them... they are looking to distract you... especially someone covering their face and wearing too many clothes.
Yes, drugs will definitely do it. I have been around enough of these folks to see they are possessed. We had one attack our church once in an evening service a few years ago. Homeless guy went after the woman worship leader, the pastors tried to protect her, a couple were injured (super strength). He then ran through a plate glass window on the side of the sanctuary, and then jumped off the top level of the church into the parking lot below and killed himself. Fortunately no guns in that one.
That’s how it’s shaping up. Trump has said he thinks a factor in these shootings is a failure to deal with the dangerous mentally ill.
Actually, in the long run this plays into the hands of liberals. A liberal friend of mine admits that background checks are useless. He advocates repeal of 2A and confiscation of all guns.

Churches and other sanctuaries attract them. That’s why people who go there need to be protected. Every church needs to be prepared. I do believe we are at the beginning of a difficult time.
Wanting to be charitable now requires screening. It can be very dangerous.
The church I went to previously had a security team headed by a retired FBI agent and comprised of various active and retired LEOs. I know there are people carrying in the services but they are all undercover LEOs.
My present church doesn’t make a pretense. They hire uniformed off-duty policemen to stand in the lobby and near the sanctuary entrance.
Sad that is where the country is. I know at my old church the problems ramped up when it would not support same-sex “marriage.” It got denigrated as a “hate group” and the church sign is regularly vandalized.
with all of the evil being unleashed on peaceful places of worship i’m getting the impression this is God’s way of stating that complacency and compliance to “man’s law” is no longer an option and we cannot rely solely on trump to spare us...
this is a group effort in the battle between good and evil...

Trump is right, as usual. Americans forgot why state mental hospitals were built in the first place. And the system was neglected and aged and in serious need of newer and smaller hospitals.
The ACLU lawsuits made that impossible since there is no point building a new facility for a population that can’t legally be held in them anymore.
One of the reasons the left coast is literally going to shit is because the 9th circuit has hamstrung cities and declared most vagrancy laws “unconstitutional”.
People complain about the police and city governments doing nothing, but that’s because the laws or ordinances have been rendered unenforceable.
One more Trump appointment to SCOTUS and maybe this can be successfully re-litigated. I suspect it will require a nasty epidemic or three before enough people wake up to the fact that the historical reasons for criminalizing vagrancy didn’t go away.

No the shooter was shot dead in the head with 1 shot by a legal gun carrying well trained citizen.
I just puled up the Medina County vote record and he is listed as unaffiliated. To vote for most candidates in a primary you have to pick either Republican or Democrat in Ohio. You can still vote for issues, general elections and non-party primaries without picking a party.
I also checked and he didn't vote in any of the election since he registered in August 2016, so he wouldn't have had any time to pick a party.

20 yrs ago I would trust LE to either apprehend or indict based on facts and on the reality of the situation. Today many don’t trust those we should trust the most. How did this start? Politics and partisan behavior of LE and the media will destroy us.
