Society has decided to allow gender-confused men to dictate new rules in competitive sports. All this was done in the name of political correctness. Isnt biology the reason we have separate sports competitions?
It seems that biology isnt a leftist favorite subject!
A top-ranked runner in NCAA womens track is dominating the competition and setting records one year after competing as a man at the same level.
But that wasnt an isolated incident and similar cases are reported every day.
Transgender weightlifters, wrestlers, boxers, softball players, track athletes and others have a tremendous advantage against biological females.
To that end, transgender athletes taking testosterone also have an advantage and should not be allowed to compete while on the hormones.
And lawmakers in Tennessee have finally decided to address the issue and introduce legislation to ensure biological girls have a fair chance.
We are seeing more and more transgender athletes competing and posting victories in traditionally gendered sports competitions, and doing so to the detriment of girls and women biologically born female.
Boys and men, due to testosterone levels, bigger bone structure, greater lung capacity, and larger heart size, have physical advantages in sports relative to girls and women, State Rep. Bruce Griffey, who introduced the bill, said to The Tennessee Star,
The bill states that any school who does not have students compete against those who are the same biological sex would immediately ineligible to continue to receive public funds of any type from this state or a local government...
He said it is it is fundamentally unfair who biological females to compete against biological males when they are working towards college scholarships in their sport...
Fight on ladies; you have a lot of support! It is so totally unfair! Its time to come back to realitymales were created with more strength and stamina!
Eventually, one of these dudes will be playing field hockey or wrestling or something and end up crushing some poor girl and causing serious injuries. Then the parents will sue the pants off the NCAA. Thats what it will take before people realize this is absurd and unfair to female athletes. Maybe they should start letting dudes play in and dominate the WNBA or pro womens tennis and watch how fast people change their tune.
Don’t worry, the governor is intent on importing some more vibrancy and diversity for us. I don’t remember voting for that.
Why does the Legislative Branch of Government have to pass a law restricting this?
Why don't the not so gender confused ladies just refuse to compete?
Does it really take Government to solve all our societal ills?
"10th Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
On the other hand, the states have never expressly constitutionally given the feds the specific power to make laws that protect on the basis of sex outside the scope of voting rights issues, evidenced by the 19th Amendment.
The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation [emphasis added]."
From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]. United States v. Butler, 1936.
So the politically correct, vote-winning Equality Act that the article mentions that Speaker Pelosi is pushing, probably as election year dog-and-pony show since Congress is mostly gridlocked, is constitutionally indefensible imo, another attempt by Democrats and RINOs to unconstitutionally expand the already unconstitutionally big federal governments powers imo.
Remember in November!
MAGA! Now KAGA! (Keep America Great Always!)
Question: Suppose a PRIVATE school supports transgender male athletes competing with female athletes, does this bill apply to them?
The Dims in the US House are trying to legalalize it all with a bill called the "Equality Act". Of course, it could never pass the senate now and would never be signed by President Trump, but such a bill to legalize all this transgender sports competition lunacy and much more does exist and will be kept around for the first opportunity to pass it into law.
The Nazis did it first with Henrich/Dora Ratjen during the 1936 Olympics.
There is a simple solution to this. Have NO male or female sports. Have an XY chromosome group, and an XX chromosome group. Let each participant call himself, herself, zirself, or anything else they want.
How about not letting any transgenders compete against regular people. GIVE THEM THEIR OWN LITTLE EVENTS AND RACES AND WHATEVER.
The women trannies shouldnt be taking men’s spots either.
Along with corruption and immigration This should be a Republican congressional issue during the 2020. There was only one dem congress member to vote against HB9 it and he’s going to face getting tossed in his redistricted district Dan Lipinski IL 5th.
Give them their own divisions and teams. They can
compete with each other.
Thanks. I know and understand that. I could have worded my post a little better.
They were pretty much redundant questions in my unsuccessful, veiled attempt to make the point that we have for too long and still continue to turn to the government for solutions to societal problems we used to and could fix ourselves.
In this case the actual women who are upset or adversely affected simply to choose not to compete.
The meets would die a swift death if it was only for he/she’s. What would the LBGTQRSTWXY’s do, initiate a law suit or getting legislation passed to force normal women to show up and compete?
As a society we can, when willing, affect many societal issues at the local level rather than turning to government for a fix.
Government doesn’t have a very good track record of late of doing anything efficiently.
