The DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz finally released his report on FISA abuses on Monday.
The report revealed what we knew to be true all along — the FBI defrauded the FISA court and purposely omitted exculpatory information from the FISA judges in order to obtain FOUR FISA warrants on Trump campaign advisor Carter Page.
Horowitz, however concluded that the FBI investigation into Trump was not politically motivated — and John Durham hit back.

“I have the utmost respect for the mission of the Office of Inspector General and the comprehensive work that went into the report prepared by Mr. Horowitz and his staff. However, our investigation is not limited to developing information from within component parts of the Justice Department. Our investigation has included developing information from other persons and entities, both in the U.S. and outside of the U.S. Based on the evidence collected to date, and while our investigation is ongoing, last month we advised the Inspector General that we do not agree with some of the report’s conclusions as to predication and how the FBI case was opened,” John Durham said in a rare statement.
John Durham was tapped by Bill Barr earlier this year to conduct an investigation into the origins of Spygate.
Mr. Durham has already traveled to Italy and other countries as part of his sprawling investigation into how Obama’s corrupt FBI and intel agencies launched and carried out the largest spy operation of a presidential candidate in US history.
Unlike Horowitz, Durham has real power to bring the coup plotters to justice, such as the power to indict and impanel a grand jury.
US Attorney General Bill Barr also blasted the FBI on Monday in a statement
“The Inspector General’s report now makes clear that the FBI launched an intrusive investigation of a U.S. presidential campaign on the thinnest of suspicions that, in my view, were insufficient to justify the steps taken,” Barr said, adding, “It is also clear that, from its inception, the evidence produced by the investigation was consistently exculpatory.”

Jeff Sessions did a preliminary examination of the Hillary stolen emails, laptops, payoffs for favors and other non-Russia crimes and said "I see nothing that warrants further investigation or indictments." We all said" Get to the eye exam office fast."
Well I predicted the Horowitz report (as many here did).
My next prediction. Barr won’t do much on the next phase and here’s why.
He doesn’t want to convict the FBI and DOJ people who are complicit in this because then some judge will rule all their cases that they investigated or helped on will need to be reviewed. Then they felons will be released pending a new trial. And some of those trials will never occur because witness are dead and evidence no longer exists.
So he wants to restore faith in our gov’t but at the same time doesn’t want to do what’s really needed to do so because that means possibly letting a bunch of felons go free. Then one of them rapes or murders someone and the press will blame Barr (and not Comey and the others who did the crime that allowed them to be released).
So he will not prosecute them. He has already proven he won’t go after them.
Maybe he will go after CIA and politicians...MAYBE, but I doubt it. He needs to find a sacrificial lamb (another clinesmith...or whatever his name was).
This is the best news of the day. The IG sugar coated his findings but Durham is going for the cuffs and some frog marching.
I am low on patience but I'll wait.

To be fair it is a blistering report all up to the final ... I have no idea why they did this. Just bad leaders I guess. I mean they said it wasn’t because they hated Trump...they promised.
But we all knew this was coming. unless they admitted it or if they had an email or text message that said I’m doing all this FISA abuse stuff so that we can get screw up the Trump presidency because I’m biased against him and want Hillary to win...Horowitz would say there is no evidence.
Nah. He’s just protecting his fellow cronies.
A little less talk and lot more action is what is called for here. Americans are tuning everything out due to the fire hose of things that com every day.
It’s going to take major moves to get anyone’s attention.
You know, lampposts, torches, that kind of stuff.
I feel sorry, genuinely, for the innocent FReepers who want to work within the system and play by the rules.
And I did NOT mean I was insulting or belittling the FReepers here. Don't misunderstand me. We all want our American Way of Life to produce justice within the rules.
Many said "Look at the way the Dems are rushing the impeachment sessions to get ahead of the day they predict the IG report is going to be dropped. They're panicking, staring at indictments."
Now Comey is outright gloating and mocking us all. And the traditional champagne is being opened at Hillary's and Obama's mansions for the celebrations.

We don't need to stoop to their level as infuriating as their level may be.
After down arrests will be just fine. As long as we are arresting the truly guilty. No need to perp walk their wives in the middle of the night, just because they did it to us. A long long incarceration will be justice enough.

No one asks why Mueller had no curiosity - and asked to expand Investigation- or shut down saying this a misuse of his Office.

I think, following this debacle as much as I could stomach, that we’re there anyways.
If this is what our country has sunk to in politics, it needs a major overhauling or we just need to turn the lights out now.
