I am always reminded of a story Trump’s friend told at an event in Las Vegas.
His friend owns the Treasure Island Casino and he held a Rally for Donald Trump after he announced his Candidacy.
As I remember it, the guy is introducing Trump and said he had gone with Trump to talk to some Bankers that financed the Mega Yacht Trump he bought from Billionaire Khashshoggi, the guy who was always on Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.
Trump wanted the Bankers to lower the Interest Rate on the Loan. When the Bankers refused, Trump gets up, throws a set of Keys on the Table and says well, then you own it and he walks out the Door.
His friend can’t believe what he just saw and follows Trump out asking him WTH does he think he is doing? As they head for the Elevator, the Bankers rush after them and tell him to come back in so they can discuss it further.
Bottom line, Trump got the Interest Rate lowered.
When they left, Trump tells his friend, good thing they came after us or we would be taking a Cab home, those were the Car Keys.
