If you think a Senate acquittal of President Donald Trump will put Nancy Pelosi’s clown show to rest for good, think again. – The Democrats will get their dummied-up articles of impeachment voted out just before Christmas as a gift to their lunatic Perpetual Outrage Mob on Twitter, irrevocably staining our nation’s history as a result. Many people are thinking right now that that will mean they can breathe a sigh of relief, since the Senate trial will likely result in an acquittal of the President, meaning he and congress will then spend most of 2020 conducting the nation’s business.
Well, if that is your thought process, you really should think again. Several Democrat members of congress, including Jabba the Nadler and even San Fran Nan herself, have made it quite clear this week that they consider getting to these articles of impeachment just sort of step one in what they hope will become a never-ending process throughout the duration of the Trump Administration.
We have this prevailing thought process among the corrupt media’s pundit class that Pelosi has been a reluctant, almost unwilling participant in all of this, but nothing could be further from the truth. People tend to forget that Mollie Hemingway of the Federalist, while riding an Amtrak train the day after the 2018 elections, overheard Jabba the Nadler having a telephone conversation in which he laid out his and Pelosi’s plans to convert the House Judiciary, Oversight and Intelligence committees into tools for a continuous impeachment effort, targeting not just President Trump, but Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh as well.
Nadler’s conversation was not just idle boast – everything Hemingway documented in her piece about that call has in fact materialized. The Democrats haven’t gotten around to Kavanaugh yet, but the key word in that sentence is “yet.”
This impeachment clown show could not have been conducted in the way that it has been unless Pelosi actively and willingly conspired with her committee chairmen – Adam Schiff, Jabba the Nadler and the late Elijah Cummings (now the detestable Carolyn Maloney) – to write new committee rules for this congressional session that were designed to facilitate the effort. None of this would have taken place had Pelosi not willingly and with malice aforethought authorized the spending of millions of extra dollars for these committees to arm themselves with a raft of radical leftist Lawfare lawyers, who wrote those committee rules and have managed the committee efforts on behalf of the bumbling chairmen.
It was no doubt the Lawfare lawyers authorized by Pelosi who came up with the whole idea of going after the President via the “whistleblower” construct, a strategy that has allowed them to keep the guy who supposedly initiated the whole thing under wraps, even though everyone in Washington knows his name is Eric Ciaramella. Every public word Pelosi has spoken about this effort – from her supposed reluctance to move forward to her insistence that any impeachment effort would have to be bipartisan and even to her despicable claims to “pray” for the President has been an outright lie.
She planned all of this, working hand-in-hand with her committee chairmen and the Lawfare lawyers that she authorized the money for, from the beginning. Even those subpoenas Schiff issued so he could spy on Devin Nunes and John Solomon and who knows who else were signed off on by the Speaker of the House.
This is her deal.
As of today, she has no motivation to end it and put her committees back to doing actual work once she has obtained her articles of impeachment. Why? Because this entire fiasco has produced literally zero change in public opinion. As of today, the President’s average public approval rating in recent national polls at RealClearPolitics sits at 43.7%, which is within 1% of where it stood at the first of September, when the Democrat/media Axis of Propaganda started promoting the Ukraine hoax.
So, this latest tactic in the never-ending coup d’etat against the President has produced neither positive nor negative results for the Democrats. But their problem is, it’s all they have. They know that none of the array of corrupt hacks in their presidential field has a prayer of actually defeating President Trump in next year’s election, so their only real hope of ridding themselves from their midst is to just keep digging in hopes they will at long last finally dig up something in Trump’s past that will stick to him.
Given that 98% of the corrupt news media does nothing but serve as the Democrat Party’s giant organ grinder monkey, there is no political price for Pelosi or anyone in her caucus to pay for turning impeachment into a permanent fixture of American government.
The only way this clown show will end would be for the American voter to stop voting for these despicable, depraved, demented Democrats.

Personally, I think that the dems haven’t had an original thought in years, and take their marching orders from the media. Essentially, the democrat party is the giant organ grinder monkey.

The ONLY way that this is going to happen is for VOTER FRAUD and BALLOT TAMPERING/HARVESTING to be completely eliminated. These seditious and treasonous acts are the life blood of the DemocRAT....err....Communist Party, USA and that’s a fact.

No, it is not all they have. They could drop the entire shampeachment effort and turn their energy to actually doing the work of the people they were elected to do.
We are nearing the end of the first quarter of fiscal year 2020. Yet there is no approved budget, and the government is lurching from continuing resolution to continuing resolution, with the current one set to expire around Christmas. As the debt grows exponentially, the last thing we need is for the government to be running without any sort of budget to keep things in check.
In addition to the budget, I hear there are several legislative items before the house. Guess what else is not being done.
If I were to hire a roofer, and he started harassing my neighbors and calling the police on them for frivolous complaints every day, I would fire him because he was not doing the job I hired him for. But I am stuck with these do nothing congress critters, and have no recourse.
With belligerence as their prime motive, the Dems only alternative is impeachment as long as they control the House. They are vacuous in Democratic leadership.
Reportedly, Al Green says that a President can be impeached more than once. Look for new charges, investigations and new articles of impeachment if/when the Senate finds President Trump not guilty.
If found guilty, VP Pence will be drummed out before he can be sworn in. And then we have UNELECTED President Pelosi. Will that be accepted?
At some point, the coup must be stopped, one way or another.
It is usually better if Congress is gridlocked and unable to get anything done. We really need to go back to the notion that Congress is convened only when there is some need.
The only question is will Republicans retain some of the spine transplant donated by Trump and return the favor?

That IS the bottom line, which is exactly why President Trump has chosen (frustratingly) to remain “on the defensive” for three years. He has known all along that this fight can only be won through the ballot box in 2020.
Many here think President Trump should have immediately fired every single Obama administration holdover, as Clinton did 1992, and “weaponized” his DOJ, FBI, etc., the way Obama did throughput his term, and order his AG to indict, convict and incarcerate all Obama coconspirators associated with Spygate and pay-for-play corruption.
But doing that only works if you are a Democrat POTUS and have the fake news on your side. President Trump knew that such an approach would give the Democrats and MSM their smoking gun - would demonstrate that he was indeed an authoritarian of the worst kind - a ruthless Hitler or Ghengis Khan who uses his executive branch agencies like storm troopers to round up and imprison dissenters.
Sure, it would have been a lie, but it would have been easy for the fake news to convince the people of this, if he had gone that route. So he decided to endure their witch hunts, remain “transparent”, remain above reproach, and prove his innocence to the American people, no matter how long it takes (but hopefully before 2020!).
I agree that being proven innocent in the Senate will not stop the witch hunts, but the way the President has chosen to behave (as the innocent victim that he is) is making the Democrats look very bad - especially if this goes to a Senate trial.
He will win in 2020 and take the House back. The Democrats will lose their committee chairmanships and no longer be able to waste time on witch hunts.
I don’t know how many coup perpetrators will be in jail - I don’t know about the two tier justice system. I’ll be happy if the Democrats are significantly weakened politically, so that President can focus entirely on MAGA.
Sometimes the less Congress does, the better off the American public is.
They get back to the work they were elected to do, and they can screw things up faster than you know what.
Especially the democRATS. They are known for the unintended consequences of their good intentions.
Sometimes politicians doing nothing is preferable to them trying to fix things that aren't broke.
The problem with running without a budget is that every time a continuing resolution (CR) is passed, Congress raises the debt ceiling. Thus, they keep driving up the debt, which is already astronomical.
And there are other ways in which CRs create waste and fraud. If the government should go into shut-down, most employees are sent home. They cannot work while they are on furlough. But when they eventually return to work, they are given back pay for the time they did not work. They are, therefore, getting a free vacation every time the government shuts down. And the government gets nothing for the expense.
I am military, considered essential personnel. So I never am subject to furlough. I am expected to show up for work and keep our organization running. But I cannot fill in for the civilians and do their job, so I end up not doing much at work either in the event of a shut-down.
It’s a big waste of taxpayer money, brought to you by the Congress that can’t be bothered with its Constitutional duties because abusing and bullying the President is just SO important.
