Good to hear you came out of this in decent shape! If you get a few minutes it would be instructive to know what life with a limited stomach is like. Not that I plan on removing mine. I sort of like it. :)

A close friend had the same surgery ( and chemotherapy) for the same reasons about 10 years ago. She is now 89, and has been doing great.

Well I am now home less one stomach and six pounds. I can eat about a half a deck of cards in food quantity. My clinical staff was great but my last two nights the room was too cold and didn’t get corrected til 3 am. I put on a wool stocking hat.
I had a pain pump and never had severe pain. I did have dozens of discomforts. My surgeon is a champ.

A complaining patient is a good thing! At least that’s what I tell them when I do it!
