If Trump has another rally at the same location next year, I also plan to get to the FRONT OF THE LINE again. However, next time I will practice energy conservation. For one thing, I would bring an old disposable pillow with me for sitting on outside and remain sitting for at least 5 hours except to get some camera shots of the crowd. Another thing to avoid dehydration without losing my place on line is I will bring water bottles and wear Depends. The latter I need to test out first to see how icky it is because I never did that.
I figure with that amount of rest time plus the water, I should be able to stand for the 7 hours needed on the floor... Unless they have a stage behind Trump which is where I thought I would be for being at the FRONT OF THE LINE.

I’ve been to three Trump rallies since September 2016. There is nothing that matches the atmosphere, the camaraderie, and the passion of a gathering like this. The only thing I’ve experienced that is comparable was an NHL hockey game in the Stanley Cup finals.

Can you hire a student for $10.00 an hour to stand in line for some of that time?

Here's a tip for the next rally. Bring a ratty old folding lawn chair that you don't mind getting rid of. You can then sit in it the whole time you are in line. Once you get to the entrance, they will obviously not let you bring the chair in. So just let them confiscate it. You will notice off to the side a pile of stuff that security confiscated. Your chair will be tossed into that pile. But who cares, it's an old chair you were going to get rid of anyways.
Thanks for the report! I was at the Fairfield, CT Trump rally in August 2016 and it was one of the highlights of my life. Also, that rally was historical as it was the last rally that Trump did without a teleprompter. It was also the week that Paul Manafort got jettisoned from the campaign and Kellyanne Conway and Steve Bannon were brought in.
That rally convinced me that Trump was going to win. A deep blue state like Connecticut on one of the hottest days of the year. We were lined up for hours and hours. Thousands of people were waiting outside - couldn't get in.
Just after the rally ended, a massive thunderstorm came through and broke the heat wave. It was a glorious night all around. But was I tired! I was standing up for nearly 12 hours straight.

I was at the Trump rally at same venue in August 2016. This one was BIGGER since last time they didn't fill the rafters like this time. Also the mood was different. Last time the mood was HOPE and this time the mood was CELEBRATION.
Also this time the crowd was much more "diverse." I estimate at least 25% Hispanic and many black people such as the nice gentleman who was sitting next to me when I had to sit in the audience.

Excellent adventure!
Just think... If the rally had been in San Franpissco you could have just relieved yourself right where you were standing... Just like everyone else.... No depends needed, but nose-plugs would be a help...

Might have to ask your mom about that!
Glad you enjoyed it. The one my wife and I went to was fantastic.
