What’s wrong with Hunter Biden receiving large sums for sitting on this board? Was he twisting arms? Extorting? Bribing? Burisma agreed to pay him. Why? Should we open an investigation in search of a crime? Is it a crime to get rich while being worthless?
I have no problem with Hunter on the Burisma board per se.
I gave no problem with Ukraine wondering WTF about it and investigating.
I have a huge problem with Joe getting the investigating AG fired, bragging about it, then seeking impeachment of Trump for wondering WTF.
I think the point was that it was a money laundering operation.
He was far from "worthless". Based on results produced, he was worth every penny they paid. And yes, in government, when there is an appearance of a crime, it is usually investigated. If a crime is confirmed, then people are indicted. Well, it used to be that way...
Are you kidding me with this statement, the company was BUYING access to his father REALLY you see nothing wrong with that!!!
Right. I don't know if Hunter Biden did anything illegal.
But if the source of his compensation was US money destined for the Ukraine, but instead coming back into Hunter's bank account, the folks that set that up certainly broke laws. Especially if the threat of withholding the funds themselves were used to engineer such a money laundering scheme.
