The resistance is against the power of elected government. Our government (and industrial/financial complex) is fundamentally the tool of unelected bureaucrats, endorsed or tolerated by the puppets the people elect to political office.

My thoughts are Trump is screwing up all the kickback schemes for Congress and the intel community. Ukraine is just an example. Biden and many others got rich off illegal kickbacks. Trump is too honest for THIS government.

Slavery was a disgraceful part of America, but it was eradicated nearly 160 years ago and the last vestiges of legal racial discrimination were erased more than 50 years ago.

And the Democrat party hasn’t given up yet, now with Trump making America Great and the Economy thriving, people going back to work and incomes rising, the last chance Democrats of Enslaving people in Dependence is vanishing before their eyes,

” And that’s why we see everything at Defcon 1.”

I don’t think we are at anywhere near Defcon 1, but if this crap continues we will be.

It’s his actual agenda of “America the Great.” They don’t believe it and they don’t want it.

DUH, when we stopped giving trophies to the winners and gave participation awards to all, we should have figured it out.

There is only one anonymous, and his name is Q.

This author tells it like he was in church.

America is not a land mass or a collection of people. America is an idea that was put forth by a band of brilliant colonialists who sought to create as close to a perfect form of government as man had seen yet.

They were successful.

People who despise that form of government compact and, either wittingly or unwittingly, seek to "transform" it, hate that America and are NOT American as defined by that original charter.

Being stupid is no excuse. Any and all who work against the America that I know, the REAL America, are not Americans. They are the enemy within.

I'm looking at you democrats, rinos, lefties, Antifa, the disengaged, liberals, so-called journalists, Trump haters, derp staters, so-called educators, media scum, third wave feminists, progressives, trans activists, baby killers, environmentalists, gun control Nazis, social justice warriors, bubble headed bleach blonde celebrities, people with face lifts, fat kids, skinny kids, kids who climb on rocks, tough kids, sissy kids, even kids with chicken pox. And people who like mushrooms.

Yes, you.

Just so, and not just US-based either. The schemes are international, and there is all sorts of "partnership" being disrupted.

Beautifully stated.

A while ago in our local, very small weekly newspaper, one freaktoid sent a letter to the editor, which ended (paraphrasing slightly) “I view Trump and his fans as personal direct threats to me and my family”.

IOW, he thinks he is morally justified in any kind of attacks against “direct threats”. They are criminally insane.

Is the Deep State an emergent Praetorian Guard whose posterior Presidents must kiss?

Shall Presidents Serve at the Pleasure of the Deep State?

Well stated, FRiend bagster ... except that bit about people who like mushrooms.

Mushrooms are an important part of my Polish-American cultural heritage. And if anything, they’re an even bigger part of all my Italian-American friends’ cultural heritage as well.

Don’t take away our ‘shrooms. Especially on a pizza.

Cheers!

Good article at your link. The unelected controlling elements aren’t emergent, they are mature and well-developed. Institutionalized. Senior Executive Service exists to protect the bureaucracy from being controlled by elected officials. The system is a self-serving parasite. Well-armed and just as angry with the public as the public is, at it.

Right now the face appears to be DEM, but the bureaucracy is truly bipartisan, or as they prefer to claim, “nonpartisan.” Heh. They vote, they are partisan.

The driving force of America that began at Plymouth with the freedom-loving Puritans

The Pilgrims that landed at Plymouth were Separatists not Puritans.

Sort of like calling a Baptist a Pentecostal.

...Trump haters don’t really hate Trump and his supporters as much as they hate what Trump and his supporters believe and are fighting for.

I am in agreement with the guy who slashed the Trump balloon if not his methods. It's not Republican verses Democrat , it is now good verses evil. How anyone can support socialism after so much awful history behind it confirms its evil no longer has any excuses for their beliefs.

I will grant you that those are some nasty-looking mushrooms.

But that’s not fair to common button mushrooms, which to me are the very soul of innocence ... especially sautéed in real butter.

My Dad always liked to recount how he and grandpa used to go mushroom hunting in Buffalo’s Chestnut Ridge Park. My old Polish grandpa had a perfect eye for which ones you could eat and which ones to stay away from.

Personally, I’d just as soon get mine from the produce section at Publix.

My concern is that after the President and his DOJ get a few all-important indictments . . . then what?

The Rats outwardly love the Deep State and the Pubbies are quietly okay with it. “Nonpartisan” as you say.

The President alone cannot get rid of the Deep State.

Absent Article V there is no possibility of fundamental reform.
