This former "teachers college" (now called a university) had the primary (and successful) purpose of producing excellent school teachers... As a former Danbury high school student (the HS was next door to the college) I can vouch for the fact that it also produced excellent looking teachers... After getting out of the Corps in the mid-50's, it also was one of my favorite hunting grounds... Now it spews out nothing but SJWs, communists, and demoncrats...
Substitute Umass-Amherst, or Amherst College, for “Western Connecticut State University”, and the article would very likely be 100% true.
