On Jeff Sessions

Posted on 11/07/2019 6:27:48 PM PST by cotton1706

Who wants to bet that Mitch McConnell contacted Jeff Sessions to get him to run.

To prevent a conservative from winning the seat, that is, prevent a non-good-old-boy conservative, for Sessions is certainly VERY conservative.

But McConnell likes people who go along.

So he's intervening, as he always does, to prevent a MAGA type conservative from getting into HIS senate, just as he prevented Tea Partiers from getting elected, then co-opting those that did.

Whichever Republican gets the nomination in Alabama will win the election in November. So McConnell will do what he has to go get one of HIS boys the nomination.

And then he will tell Trump he has to endorse the Republican nominee.

He's an insidious, scheming snake. And the ONLY reason he's confirming judges is to keep conservatives on his side...because he's ALSO up for re-election next year, and he really likes being majority leader.

But always remember, he prefers Murkowski types to Cruz types

Why are promoting Trump’s Enemy that evil Sessions .
Sessions set him up with the Mueller coup .
Sessions set him up with a Obama plant Rosenstein .
You want Session to return for Revenge like Romney .
Trump fired him after he would not Resign !

I find it interesting all the support for Trump failed assassin here .

Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III has worn out his welcome.

Sessions did OK as a Senator - just too weak and wimpy to be a good AG...
President Trump will back the Repub with the best chance to win because we can use all the Senators we can get.

It looks like there are lots of people interested in this Senate seat. I’m not from Alabama, so I don’t know one guy from the next.

We have: Jeff Sessions
Arnold Mooney
Stanley Adair
Bradley Byrne
John Merrill
Roy Moore
Tommy Tuberville

I have linked to the lesser known candidate’s websites, excluding Sessions’ and Moore’s, as I think people already have their minds made up about those two, one way or the other.

May the best man for America and Americans win.

I would rather meet an enemy combatant on the battlefield than encounter one our our own who gives aid and comfort to the enemy,

I think he’s better suited for the senate than AG.

Hell, Jim, he’d be better suited to be a brain surgeon than to be AG. I want him to be neither in the operating room nor in the Senate. I want no more damages to be caused by that ineffectual, submissive coward.

Yep, Session's lost his mojo a long time ago.

I don’t think Sessions is anything you describe.

That said, I am checking out Mooney who Rand Paul endorsed and who cotton1706 tipped me to.

He looks good and his ‘outsider’ status may be better for Alabama and the country,

For a very long time Sessions was pretty much alone pushing an America first agenda. A weak man would have gone along to get along. One of Trump’s biggest problems is finding good loyal people to serve in his administration since the globalists have instituted cancel culture. Globalists don’t like the idea of losing and the world moving on without them. There is too much money and power on the line. Sessions has always been willing to defy the scumbags. There are plenty of places where Sessions is a good fit to help out.

“Why in the Hell did he accept the job when he knew he was going to recuse himself! “

My theory has always been that the President is running a honey trap.

The original 2016 spy-gate crimes committed against Candidate Donald Trump pale by comparison to those committed since, as the deep state continues to double down in an attempt to cover up past crimes and remove him from office. And now they are not merely plotting to smear a candidate, now they are plotting to overthrow a duly elected POTUS.

If President Trump had appointed a different AG, or refused to let Sessions recuse himself, and had ordered his AG and DOJ to indict coup perpetrators in early 2017 - even if he had been wildly successful (of which there is no guarantee) - that would have only been the tip of the iceberg.

By waiting and letting the deep state continue to plot and subvert, he stands to catch far more of them, and for far more serious crimes. For three years he has been patiently drawing them into his honey trap.

I think Jeff Sessions took the fall for the appearance that “nothing was happening”, but in fact, things WERE happening all along, and it was President Trump who wanted to wait.

Friday, he told reporters “I caught the swamp. I caught them all. Watch what happens. Only I could have caught them.”

Doesn’t that sound like a hunter/tracker/trapper who has been patiently camouflaging and baiting his traps, and waiting for the right time to spring them?

It sure does.
