I have given it a lot of thought even though I live in an area where it is very unlikely.
Being on your property is not grounds for an aggressive act toward them.
If you are already inside your home, stay there and do absolutely nothing.
Well, be sure it is loaded and ready.
When they get brave enough to attempt a break in or try to set fire to your house, the rules change.
The problem for us is that in most states, and this state is definite on the matter, you are not in danger of serious bodily harm as long as the bad guys are outside and you are inside. This state and most others take the position that going outside to confront them indicates you are looking for a fight.
The problem is that the law is not wise, but we will be tried by the law that is on the books, not by the law of common sense.
So you are in the house and your family member comes down the street to come home. What do you do?
A very precarious legal position. Where you have the right to protect a family member from bodily harm, the fact is that you can’t prove that they were in harms way until and unless they actually are harmed.
Move too soon and you go to jail. Move too late and be burdened with a guilty conscience for the rest of your life.
Luckily the sheriff in this county has common sense.
But several counties in this state are not so lucky.
Point is....Think very carefully about what you will do. Obviously what you will do should vary according to how much family you have, how many are children or old and infirm.
But “If they come on my property....” is not giving it enough thought.
Uhh, don’t come to my town because if you get out of line the cops will thump your ass and most everyone in town knows if you got your ass thumped, you deserved it.

I didn't say that. I said that once they came on my property all bets were off. That's just what I mean.
It means that their potential threat to my family has grown and the possibility that I will be put into a position where I can't evade them any longer has grown.
At that point their bet that the state is on their side is not a smart bet. Their bet that I will stand by passively if/when they escalate further is no longer a slam dunk. They will have crossed the Rubicon and their bet of immunity is a poor one.
You see where I'm going here? Once they trespass in mass onto my property the odds that they will force me to engage them go up considerably. That's why their bet that nothing will happen is off. I am 67. That influences my attitude if ya get my meaning. If I see a *genuine* physical threat to my wife, I absolutely am not waiting until AFTER she is attacked. I will, regardless of the law, take out anyone that intentionally attempts to physically harm my wife to...any...degree...whatsoever. Period. Case closed. It should be obvious I do not mean someone on my lawn simply shouting obscenities.

I live in northeast PA, a very rural area. I hiked one of the local rail trails and found an antifa symbol spray painted on a railroad underpass outside a town of less than a thousand people. I was surprised to say the least. If one of those freaks were there they could be anywhere.
This is not good. Watch the videos in the orig post. Look how easily they organize and mobilize a demonstration of hundreds or a thousand. Mostly young college age kids, half of them were white. Thoroughly indoctrinated, well motivated. Our side is mostly over 60, with bad backs and knees. The left has fouled and taken over our culture, they have demonized us, they are trying to overthrow the President from office for no good reason, and we cant even get our side off the couch.

In case you desire more of my wisdom (grin), I believe that should it ever get to the point that a crowd of lefties are raising hell in my yard then it’s a pretty good bet that things are on the verge of anarchy everywhere and there ain’t gonna be any cops nearby concerned with what I do to protect my family.
People should face reality. The question is not *if* the Republic is doomed, but rather how its final chapter is going to play out.

As a matter of fact, that would certainly be true here. I just never realized it.
The big population centers would, at that point, be like Bosnia at its worst.
The reality is that anyone in the suburbs who would counter such an attack would be arrested and charged with a hate crime, among the multitude of other charges. They would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and even further.
Unless you are able to dispose of the bodies clandestinely, most suburbanites are not in a position to do this. Make sure you’ve got the kind of fuse that is the waterproof type. That stiff green fuse. M80s are good too. Get a little strip of electrical tape and wrap three or four 1/4 inch ball bearing around the little suckers and it’ll go through a window and into a room. Or through the side window of a car. I’ve had practice at this. :-)
