Fruit or not, his writing at the end of the article is spot on.
I’ll take every vote we can get...from any group.
Doesn’t mean I agree with their lifestyle and some of their opinions, but a vote is a vote.
It’s not like Trump will change his beliefs and folks going in there voting for him who are gay or anti 2nd amendment or TS/TV/TB/TG/TA/TH/TH know this.
But they are voting for who will best run the country.
Yes, I made up a few of those Ts at the end :)
There was a contingent of Gays for Trump at the rally here in New Mexico.
Their slogan was something like: We’re gay. We’re not stupid.”
There are lots of good gay people, and while I have a problem with their sexual preference choice, I have no problem with them. They are not the ones demanding we accept their lifestyle and demand we reject our religious beliefs. They just want to be left alone to live their life, and I accept that. Because judgement is not my responsibility. That responsibility is way beyond my, or any other human’s, pay grade. What is my responsibility is to not allow them to unduly influence our children. They themselves have to make that decision, as adults.
Ive known a few pretty conservative gay men. Not so much lesbians. I think that, like other special interest groups, the media portrays a “unified front” of Hispanics, African-Americans, women, etc, ...no surprise that unity is exclusively left wing.
