VANITY: Trump set in motion a clause that Miss Universe can only be sold to a US citizen

We just heard that the Miss Universe Pageant will be held in Atlanta on Sunday, Dec. 8th and televised via FOX live to 90 countries from......... GASP!..... a television studio! Yes, they've managed to get Tyler Perry to host the pageant in one of his movie studios outside the city. Many fans across the world are concerned that they won't be able to attend to cheer on their favorite candidate. This is what the Miss Universe Pageant has come to.

IMG (who bought Miss USA, Miss Teen USA and Miss Universe from Donald Trump in 2015) is bleeding money and they're looking to sell the pageants, it is heavily rumored. Some people who have shown interest are Kris Jenner with Ryan Seacrest, as well as talk that Eric and Ivanka Trump are also interested, although Ivanka's role is not defined given that she's a Trump administration employee.

Among other talk in the global pageantry sphere, it is said that Donald Trump set in motion a clause when he sold the pageant in 2015 that stated that the owners of the pageants must be US citizens living in the US. This, of course, is great news to Puerto Ricans or US Virgin Islanders who might want to buy the pageant because they too are US citizens living in US territories.

This, in my opinion, and if it's correct and factually true, is a brilliant move by Mr. Trump. And, if true, that means that he really has thought about Puerto Ricans and US Virgin Islanders as well and that he's not a Troglodyte to minorities or islanders as the mainstream media portrays him to be.

If these pageants get sold, let's hope it's to someone as dedicated and thoughtful as Mr. Trump. Let's MAKE MISS UNIVERSE GREAT AGAIN!

Trump (nor his family) I believe have no more involvement in these pageants.

Never understood them except for ogle material (I confess).

I’m surprised any productions of any kind is being made in Georgia after all the hubbub over the abortion ban. (Hear that Walking Dead?). I guess that federal Marxist judge who said the law was unconstitutional made it possible for productions to go ahead

Where are the contestants going to film their “out and about” spots? Atlanta is not really bursting with glamorous and exotic locations, especially in winter. You know that Stone Mountain with the Confederate generals carving in the background will not be happening.

I wouldn't phrase it that way.

The next thing you know he will be accused of bringing back slavery.

...Miss Universe can only be sold to a US citizen ..."

Great! What's the going rate? And can I purchase one from any year, or do I have to purchase the one from the year of my birth? Are multiple purchases allowed?

Inquiring minds want to know ...

Yes, I am aware. However, rumors point out that Eric might be interested in buying back Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA.

I never could stand these pageants. Sure, we watched them back we only had one or two channels but not since the invention of cable.
