Governor Newsom Speaks Newspeak

Tweet from Governor Newsom’s office:

You didn’t expect him to call them blackouts did you? Or brownouts?

Response was immediate. Even from normally like-minded allies.

Tweet from Seth Mandel of the Washington Examiner:

Power to the People!

Except of course in states that spend all of your money on electric trains to nowhere, subsidies for wind, solar and electric car (that run on, duh, electricity) companies instead of proper oversight of your Public Service Commission that is supposed to be providing oversight of the state’s public utility companies. In case I’m unclear: oversight would include verifying that the monopolistic companies are providing proper powerline maintenance/clearance to ensure their ability to provide customers with ongoing, uninterrupted power supply.

Image result for california train to nowherePart of the currently abandoned multi-multi-billion $ train-to-nowhere. Might have been better off spending all that money to build a wall and clearing utility powerlines.

“From ‘green energy revolution’ to "’de-energization’” (H/T Password is Taco) in just one administration! Remarkable! Governor Newsom speaks Newspeak, and he wants you to as well. Do. Not. Comply.

Newsom is even worse than Jerry Brown and that’s really saying something!

Neither one deserves the respect to be called governor. Destroyer maybe or incompetent place holder maybe; but not governor.

California is a failed state.
It should be returned to Territory status with no Senators or Representatives, and no electors in national elections, and a governor by the President.
Maybe 40 years as a Territory might restore it to an operable status ready for re-admission to the Union.

The citizens of California got exactly what they voted for. It’s the leadership they wanted.

“Newsom is even worse than Jerry Brown and that’s really saying something!”

Brown actually learned his lesson back in his first stint as governor, around 1980. Back then the Fruit Fly was making a play on their agriculture, threatening to permanently wipe it out. Not really a big deal, however, as aerial spraying of Malathion always worked (and still does, as far as I know). But the aerial spraying wasn’t popular and the Sierra Club convinced him to use a ground-only approach. Needless to say, the infestation grew and was about to reach the no-return point (where it would be impossible to wipe out the fruit flies). At that point Brown told the Left to F-off and he finally sprayed. But by waiting so long, he sprayed maybe 10 times the amount that would have been needed if he had simply listened to the experts.

He learned from that. Now Californians have to endure Newsome’s learning curve

Be fair.
The citizens of California got what LA, SF, and Sacra-demento voted for.
I’m told once you clear the urban areas of CA sanity returns.

I hear you but CA has been on a steady, sometime rapid, downward spiral for decades. Almost 3 decades that I know of. Can California survive another light-speed spiral until this bonehead wakes up to the realities of the world? Frankly I don't think he ever will and I don't think CA can wait even if he does. Hopefully the recall will happen and this loser will be kicked deep into the gutter of history. That won't fix CA but it might slow the spiral down a bit. CA still has a super-majority in the state congress.

I think CA has gone past the point of no return. The best it can hope for is the spiral to stop. As long as the dems are in charge; that will never happen. They destroy everything they touch. It's their way and they've been doing it forever. They truly are the "tools" of Satan.

Correction: The majority of the voters got the leadership they voted for. The majority in CA is not known for having a clue. There are millions of good solid conservative-minded voters in CA. The problem is they are so outnumbered because of unchecked illegal immigration and CA being a magnet for fruits and nuts, what they now call Gay's and Crazies, for many decades. Maybe even a century or more.

In a news conference today he said ‘unhoused angelenos’ when commenting about the homeless in the sepulvada pass area. They started the last fire.
