The phrase "trigger word" describes the use of a word planted in a narrative to evoke a strong pro or con emotion in a reader or a viewer. For instance "Nazi" or "Storm Troopers" are trigger words.
The media has been using the trigger word "storm" all day in describing the scene of the GOP CongressCritters descending the spiral staircase and entering the Dems star chamber meeting room.
In actuality, the procession down the stairs looked more like a gentle rain from heaven than a "storm".
Only once today (on Fox) did I hear someone criticize the use of the word "storm".

John Ratcliffe, R-Texas, in Tuesday’s closed-door session, deconstructed a key part of the latest Trump impeachment inquiry witness, acting U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bill Taylor. “In 90 seconds, we had John Ratcliffe destroy Taylor’s whole argument,” McCarthy said. It destroyed Democrats’ allegation that President Trump pushed Ukraine to investigate both election interference and a company linked to Joe Biden’s son with a quid pro quo.
Ratcliffe said on Fox’s “The Story with Martha MacCallum” that it is all is a “frame job.” “Neither this witness or any other witness has provided any evidence of Trump’s alleged attempt to hold back military aid to Ukraine,” he continued.
The DemonCRAPs leaked to the press that Taylor’s testimony said there was quid pro quo. They never revealed that claim was before Ratcliffe destroyed it. This is how far they are playing the game and the Republicans are on to it. Pizza for everyone!
