TAMPA, Fla. -- The New York Yankees are not for sale. Not now and, if the Steinbrenner family has its way, perhaps not ever.
Hal Steinbrenner, the Yankees' managing general partner, says that despite a recent Forbes Magazine story valuing his team at $3.2 billion -- the second-most-valuable franchise in professional sports, worth nearly 400 times what Hal's father, George Steinbrenner, paid for it in 1973 -- the family has no intention of selling the ballclub, and in fact intends to see it under Steinbrenner family ownership for generations to come.

If they legalized the forward pass in football, only allowed timeouts in cases of injury, and abolished breaking play for commercials, maybe I would watch. ;)
I have never cared for the concept of the DH either. It reminds me of sandlot baseball, in which we would let the worst hitters (usually a girl or youngster who had not learned to hit yet) pick a better hitter to "take their last strike" for them. I like the strategy involved with having to decide whether to pull a pitcher when you have men on base, etc.
However, once the Astros moved to the American League, I got used to the DH. I still would prefer not to have it, but I know it is here to stay.
Well Trump can't buy them until 2025. ;)
