Turn the Lights back On-THEN I'LL SHUT UP!

Posted on 10/09/2019 9:05:12 AM PDT by DIRTYSECRET

Just been informed the power is off in the Bay Area(Ca). Is this a 3rd world country? Is the power company(PGE) trying to avoid another entire town burning down again? Unacceptable. Make it political. This is the richest country in the world. No excuses.

Looking at Pg and E’s real time outage map..Most of the outage in the Bay Area is in the Napa/Santa Rosa Area

Timber your trees or watch them burn. This is the result of the Environmental insanity.

When the Paradise fire sparked, the State did not even try to stop the fire because the ban on harvesting has also stopped removing fuel from the forest floor.

Crooked company with the corruptestregulation” in America resulting in the highest utility rates ( huge ripoff!) and a sold out state government. Needs serious complete replacement of both the corrupt greedy “regulators” and the corporation that controls them like little puppets on strings. Flash a few dollars in front of puppet “regulators” and get a thousand times return on your bribe in higher and higher and higher utility rates. And the so-called safety regulation is the worst part of this entire seedy corrupt crooked mess. Nothings going to be fixed until the crooks are in prison.

Make it political my friends. Fastball right over the middle of the plate. Hit it far. Will it happen? The generator companies must be in on it. The rolling blackouts helped get Arnold elected. He turned so far left he might as well turned queer-not his intention at first. Shows you what we’re up against.

” Homeless all over the streets, no power and you’re unarmed. Welcome to Bay Area 2019 “

Oh, don’t forget to pick up a copy of the Daily Poo-poo map(s)
so you’ll have a heads up as to where today’s Pile’s are located.

Yeah, - I would say it’s (Cali) is looking very much like a 3rd world country. That should make most Californians very happy!

btw, Count me with PG&E all the way with cutting power.
This will be good to prepare the folks for when Diablo Canyon Shuts down ……..for Good!
Great Call by PG&E!

SoCal Edison in the Inland Empire of Southern California has contractors cleaning up brush around the electrical poles, and tree trimming crews working year round to keep brush, and tree growth from becoming a fire hazard problem.

Why the ‘H’ can’t P.G. & E. do it as well?

Absolutely correct. This is a direct result of an entirely mismanaged state by the moron politicians that the moron citizens vote for.

I love California. It’s beautiful. It was a sad day 10 years ago when my wife and I sold our custom home and moved out of the state.

Moved to the central Gulf Coast of Florida.

ACTIONS have CONSEQUENCES. PG&E is taking reasonable precautions in light of past (and continuing) events and situations. That’s IMHO of course.

Ignored, or refused to pay bribes to get applications for infrastructure changes approved?

Do more research and get back to us on that.

"PG&E decided it's cheaper to turn off the power than to maintain the trees near power lines."

Not paying for maintenance of the trees allows them to line their own pockets with more money. The whole state is democrat corruption on display.

Look for a good generator to buy. It's all you can do. The place is run by theives and imbeciles.

We’ve always had wind. So why is it such a problem now that we have no power?

I agree. I hate PG&E too. But if they’re gonna be held financially responsible for everything I’d shut it down too.
