In a fairly blunt warning to the NATO ally, US President Donald Trump vowed to obliterate the Turkish economy if he thinks its stepped out of line in Syria. He then told Ankara to watch over ISIS fighters in the US absence. If Turkey does anything that I, in my great and unmatched wisdom, consider to be off limits, I will totally destroy and obliterate the Economy of Turkey (Ive done before!) the president threatened via tweet on Monday an odd turn of phrase for what otherwise seemed like a dire warning to a supposed ally.

He was saying it tongue in cheek like Reagan’s we bomb Russia mic test.
Turkey is NOT an ally.
Is this a bad thing?
Erdogan wants a Muslim Caliphate, with himself as caliph. OK. Let him consolidate one, on the Russian border. Putin will love that...
Turkey is NOT an ally.

All of these chickenhawks should arm up and go fight themselves.

And theyv’e been protecting Christians, Yazidis, and othr victims of teh Islamofascists.
