Mossberg MC1sc Review

This ain't no Shotgun, Mossberg First Handgun in 100 Years & Online Sentiments from Keyboard Commandos - Like every year, the New Year brings us new guns. Manufacturers ramp up prior to SHOT Show by unveiling their latest and greatest. This year Mossberg made a big splash releasing its first handgun in 100 years with the all-new MC1sc. Their first handgun was the Trapper. A four-shot pistol marketed to trappers for dispatching game.

Mossberg new pistol MC1sc is a polymer subcompact striker-fired pistol. Chambered in 9mm and it comes with both six-round flush and seven-round extended magazines. This pistol is worthy for the CCW carrier including the minority pocket carry crowd.

Beginning of the year with the announcement of the gun stirred up the social media community. (in plenty of different directions.) Most responses were positive, with a lot of interest in the MC1sc just because it’s from Mossberg. However, there is that negative internet groupies that voiced their opinion about the gun without actually taking the MC1sc for a run.

We’re not going to get into ballistics and caliber performance or 9mm vs. .45 because the debate never ends. But to dismiss a handgun based on the fact that it’s 9mm in this day and age is ridiculous. Its all about "Shot placement," even the FBI will agree with this statement.
Historically, Mossberg will always be known for its shotguns and rifles, the performance of which is above the scale. However, there is always one in the crowd that thinks differently. Not sure if any of these keyboard commandos knows guns, could be trolling. Most of us normal gun owners knows Mossberg is the real deal. There is usually one read that gets it, they said: "If it's reliable as their shotguns then I'd buy it."

MC1sc Performances
From most people that have shot the MC1sc the remarks have been positive vs from the keyboard commandos. Many people that have shot this little pistol were surprised in many ways. One of them is that the pistol doesn’t snap like most small pocket guns. The pistol is very accurate at rapid fire out to 25 yard with none reported malfunction. Some shooters have stated its accuracy can be compared to the Glock43. Read the rest of Mossberg MC1sc review.

Because the world needs another polymer semi auto in 9mm. Sort of like Rocky 18.

Any “real life” hands-on reviews?
I’m a Mossberg fan and will drop some real dinero for a 9mm.
Need more info: weight-in-hand, balance, grip/feel and “calibration”.
Also...available magazine adaptations.
IOW, more info brother.
That said, I’ll head to Jay’s Outdors soon to suss this one out.

I also need a writer using the term “keyboard commandos” multiple times withing the space of half a page. If that isn’t a diss from a know-it-all, I don’t know what is.

Typical middle-school level writing that passes for shooting industry journalism these days. The current crew isn’t fit to even mention the likes of Skeeter Skelton or LTC Jeff Cooper in their columns. I never bother giving any linked ASJ article a click and recommend you not do it in the future in the interests of your blood pressure.

Ironically, ‘w1n1’ is the ultimate keyboard commando.

Just what I would want a pistol as unreliable as a Mossberg shotgun.......

Top that off with Mossbergs pathetic customer service and you have a double whammy for failure.

I know the 500 is good but everything else I have ever seen from Mossberg looks like it was made by machines with tolerances set for wood working.
Add to that the 20 gauge youth shotgun my son had to that would fire on its own and you have a trifecta of trash disguised as a firearm.
