This was from the morning announcement of our local public high school. The part about aiming for "100% participating" is especially creepy. Historically, dictators have staged "elections" with 100% participation.

Some people do think climate change is a serious problem, and they can engage in activism on their own time. There are many other political causes out there, and it's wrong for schools to elevate one issue above all others and to tell people what to do and think.

My 6th grade came home with this:

"Do you know what they're teaching us in school? That humans are destroying the planet and killing the oceans and we're all going to die from global warming. That's all they talk about."

To which I asked:

"Do any of the children fall for that nonsense?"

She said: "Some DO!"

Seven children. All home schooled. All now graduated. All of them know better than to fall for climate change ideology. All of them solid conservative critical thinkers.

Get the children OUT of government-run, teachers union influenced public education.

A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT should be made against the DEPARTMENT of EDUCATION for brainwashing school aged children in pseudo science and exploiting them for political purposes.

Here at my kids school, Some kids left with their parents to go to Berkeley and San Francisco to go to a protest and it was completely on authorized and they’re getting punished
