Dems *Veto* Red Flag Laws For Gang-Bangers

If Democrats were serious about using red flag laws to keep guns out if the hands of people who might use them to senselessly murder others and therefore are danger to society, and not just as a gun-control tool to disarm law-abiding citizens, then why did they kill an attempt to use compiled lists of known gang members, which many police departments and law enforcement agencies possess?
Why did they kill a measure to red flag gang members?
And if Beto O’Rourke is going to come and take our guns, particularly our AR-15s, is he going to start on the south side of Chicago? As the Washington Examiner noted on September 14:

For a Republican to be called “mean spirited” ranks right up there with being called “racists”. When they are called either, they are unable to function. They lose control of the bowels and bladder. and as you stated they crawl into the fetal position and it is over. The Democrats have learned this is how the Republicans react so they preface their comments with either.”racists” or “mean spirited” The confrontation ends with that.

I’m amazed at the lengths dems will go to to protect gang bangers, but this shows the hypocrisy of both parties.
Red Flag laws are an overwhelmingly bad idea.

Schumer, with quivering lip, called Trump mean spirited. He managed to squeeze out a small tear, and panned his head from side to side so that photogs on both sides of the room could get a shot of said tear. It was grotesque. If Trump can’t in fact, lock some of these people up, he has at least caused them to reveal their true selves. No one prior has been able to do that.
