Number two reason for not ordering a Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato with Cheese:
Sandwich Shaming
Number one reason: Cheese on a BLT? Thats just wrong.
Im only surprised that it ran in the Daily Mail instead of the New York Times the newspaper of record that specializes in abused women stories.
NOTE: Im pretty sure this is fake news based on a fake Facebook story but then that could be said of approximately 75% of all stories run in all newspapers.

One of favorite summertime meals is bacon, tomato and melted cheese on an English muffin. We leave out the lettuce.
As long as it’s Cheese Wiz...That’s good on anything. Anything Wit is good (You people from around Philly know what I mean).
Well the mayo is really for the LT so to avoid the mayo question altogether we could just throw away the LT and add crunchy peanut butter and fry it. Fixed it.
I personally have a problem with the “tomato” part.
Wouldn’t call anyone wrong for wanting it though.
Some customers could sue and get rich. A muzz just has to say that she feels discriminated against bla bla bla, and she rakes in the money!
A normal person would not have a chance.
Agreed. Muenster would be nice too. Almost all the soft fresh cheeses. Think Buffalo Motz. A hard rind aged cheese... hell no. Same goes for a soft aged cheese. Would ruin the BLT because it clashes with the bacon. That said, classic BLT doesn’t need improvement if you have fresh from the garden tomatoes.
A cheese (Hard rind aged) and fresh summer tomato sandwich by itself is scrumptious too.
Yeah, I know my food.
Here’s my favorite BLT:
Toasted sourdough bread from Trader Joe’s
Slather on Duke’s mayo
Crispy (well done) center cut bacon
Thinly sliced garden tomatoes with salt and pepper
No lettuce so I guess it’s just a BT.
Sandwich Shaming

Almost as bad as ketchup on a hot dog.
I slather Mayo on a BLT.
Cheese too, if I feel like it.
So what?
Whole wheat English muffin, braunshweiger, blue cheese, onion, dark spicy mustard (Boetges). Yum!
I would add lettuce and onion. But that is fo me.
In the 1950’s, we didn’t use lettuce and tomatoes. We just used bacon and called it a bacon sandwich. Nowadays, such sandwiches often come with avocado slices along with tomato slices and lettuce.
Now I can't wait for lunch...
When I find myself on the campus of California State University Long Beach in the morning, I like to order the 49er Muffin for breakfast. This consists of bacon, egg and cheddar cheese on an English muffin.
Unfortunately, the team's mascot was branded racist, and the school voted to do away with the name the 49ers (the school was founded in 1949), so that menu item will either change its name or disappear.
"....I want a chicken salad sandwich on wheat toast, no mayonnaise, no butter, no lettuce....hold the chicken, bring me the toast....hold the chicken between your knees...."
Classic line.
A Slow Comfortable Screw has OJ, cherry, Angostura, Southern Comfort, and sloe gin, among other ingredients.
A “girly shot”, in other words.
Uh, everyone. I cant even imagine a BLT without mayo. Lemme guess, you make it with wheat bread, too? ;)
I knew a guy who was asked by the female hair stylist if he wanted a blow job. She meant if he wanted his wet hair blow dried. He never went back.
