Like it or not centralized power is going away
All of this going to be needed when there’s enough solar panels and batteries out there is a small natural gas speaker plans of 40 to 60 MW every few square miles
Inverter technology is unparalleled and my inverter put out much higher quality power that does the utility on a long-term basis
We’re talking about 100 years here so none of us will see all this go down
There’s really no point in building anymore nuclear plants Albeit they are safe , and for the greenhouse morons it doesn’t produce any CO2
There’s no work no point in building any power plants larger than say about 1 to 5 MW now
Facilities that need large amounts of power should just generate their own power using natural gas generation

That would seem logical except for one thing: many of them, especially the older higher-ups in the movement, are interested in another solution to "global warming," which is a very radical reduction in the human population of the earth, like by 99% or more. They don't talk about it too much, but they have on a few occasions let the mask slip.
I have no idea why people are against nuclear energy. It is absolutely one of the great inventions of our time.

Two facts you may wish to consider:
The water that is pumped in and out of a nuclear cooling facility is isolated from the water that actually touches the radioactive material.
Water itself cannot be contaminated by radiation. That is why it is used to cool nuclear reactors.

My main objection, too. Uranium based waste is nasty for a couple of hundred thousand years. But, I understand thorium based nuclear bypasses this.
Exactly and we always hear about the waste which stays deadly for a thousand years. Well we went from horse and buggy to stealth fighter jets in less then a hundred years, I’m pretty sure we could solve the waste problem.
