Ammo Grrrll waves BYE BYE, WALMART, BYE BYE. She writes:
Et tu, Walmart? Seriously? Do you have no idea who your customer base is?
Well, whatever. Im done. Its a shame, too, because Walmart is the definite Big Dog shopping emporium in our Dusty Little Village. For groceries, I have two other choices in town, one of which I have always preferred anyway: Bashas. It is a pleasant, to-scale kind of local place with good meat and produce, sun screens over parking, the most customer-friendly cashiers, and slightly higher prices on canned goods. So be it. Im willing to pay a few extra bucks for my principles. And one of my main principles is that I do not enjoy being taken advantage of without at least being treated to dinner first. (Thats as gently as I can express it ) For stuff like household goods, we also have a second option called Frys.
The hurt comes more from the betrayal than the lack of availability for more ammo. Barring the complete collapse of society and the ensuing cannibalism advocated by climatistas, Im good for the duration ammo-wise. (As perfectly as my thighs would work into the currently popular KETO paradigm 70% fat, 25% protein no hungry post-apocalyptic weather wuss is going to get a crack at them as long as I have one box of .45s left.)

bit of a bummer, in my area Walmart alone carried 22 shorts, oh well my current supply will last a year or two.
Bought groceries and ammo from Walmart. Now I will order ammo online and shop at HEB.
Problem solved.
We never bought much at WalMart so it has been real easy here. For us Walmart was just far enough down the street it wasnt much worth driving by other places anyway. Ammo was the only thing I ever bought there but the wife had a couple items she bought there every month or so. I wouldnt call it a boycott so much as give me a choice and Ill take it.
If she’s not in California, she can order ammo online and shop for deals. And now that it requires a background check every time you buy ammo in CA, I think Wally World will eventually quit ammo altogether in CA.
Freepers are running out of places to boycott. Walmart is not going to take any kind of financial hit from this decision beyond the obvious income loss of items they no longer sell.
I am familiar with that particular Bashas.
Kroeger, wallgreens, wegmans, cvs............ And on and on and on
They will actually probably pick up customers and from what we hear probably customers more to their liking. With the hipsters and the libtards all lauding them for their wokeness. Fine with me but my money goes elsewhere now.
I like the Bashas in Lake Havasu City.
huh? Ammo is mostly cheaper online...even with shipping; you don’t have to worry about contracting a communicable disease from POWs; you won’t mistakenly get photographed and be featured on the POW website; you will never have to put out an APB for the guy who has the Ammo locker key again; you will never again have to waste brain power trying to figure out why there aren’t any Walmart greeters anymore; Your money will stop going to commies who masquerade as capitalists; You won’t have to look at what POWs are wearing; Local businesses will start popping up!
There were certain items I would buy at Walmart and Sam’s that was a lot less expensive——But I don’t care, I’m done with Walmart and these freaking corporations that use our money to wield their power in creating laws——against us!
It’s on and I will boycott every single one of these marxists....
Maybe, but remember when they stopped saying “Merry Christmas”? The people spoke and they listened——but I for one and tired of spending hard earned money that’s used against us!!
I’ve also been careful to avoid shopping at Kroger, when they advocated for more gun control. They were the only grocery chain besides Walmart to do so. Buh bye.
I think you’ll find that other stores would be happy to special order .22 Shorts for you. It doesn’t pay for a small retailer to stock everything.
Can't find online .223 or 5.56 for 30 cents a round when shipping is included, unless you're buying by the case.
I think I read that Albertson’s is now on the band wagon.
Yeah I know, but I have to find one that would order any for me for less than a 5 Case order. I would be willing to order 1 case but 5? I shoot a lot of 22 shorts, but not that many. It is an aggravation but i will find a way around it soon enough.
In our rural town, Walmart is the only place to shop for general stuff like groceries.
Their ammo prices are decent, but we actually have half a dozen places to buy ammunition in town. Granted, none of them are open early/late like Walmart.
I’ve been in Walmart 5 times in the last two weeks trying to get some 22lr CCI Mini-Mags. Nobody at the ammo counter or in that entire quarter of the store.
With this news, I don’t see any reason to make a sixth attempt. I’ll pay a little extra to order online or pick it up at one of their competitors in town.
Now if we could just get the local gun shops to start carrying groceries...
