This is what “smash the patriarchy” looks like.

From the generations of women who boasted that a man is completely worthless/irrelevant when they proclaimed “a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle”. A fish has NO use for a bicycle.

Exactly. The government stepped in with many programs to ease the burden of being unmarried (welfare). And, it also tilted the tables against men in divorce. Both of the above empowered women; the second at the special expense of men rather than the taxpayer in general.

Living as a man in a matriarchy sucks. Throughout human history matriarchies have been rare and they tend not to last long as they were swamped by other cultures that were male dominated. Learned that from and undergraduate degree in Anthropology.

Also, women are not all that interested in men that they see as subordinate of inferior to them. Learned that from direct observation.

Bicycles consider fish a detriment, too.
