Other than producing some really good soccer players, and Bridget Bardot, what positives have the French contributed to the world in the past 100 years? There’s a whole lot of bad they’ve contributed.
Well, it’s been a bit over 100 years, but the French did stop the Germans in WWI. And they did cover the Brit evacuation at Dunkirk, so they should get some credit for that. Anyway, it is popular to despise the French, but this bit from France 24 might might soften some views.
