Not a complete idiot. A complete one would have tried to defend it even though it is proven wrong. Look at the committee during the DOJ investigation of Trump. Now..... they qualify and are still in the running for a Darwin Award in this category as it hasn’t stopped yet. They ought to put padded walls in the committee chamber.

I’ve read that O’Donnell apologized in order to avoid being sued by Trump. Trump should sue O’Donnell anyway!
O’Donnell’s original lies are now out there on the Internet. They will be referred to as the truth forever. So don’t let O’Donnell off the hook so easily, Mr. President. Drag him through the courts, as an example to media liars everywhere.
