A guy I know does a lot of hunting in Alaska. He says the guides all carry double-barrel shotguns as defense against bears. When he asked about that, one guide told him youre only going to get - at most - two shots off anyway.
I guess that guide would be out of luck if he were attacked by a herd of bears.

LOL, that’s right. Fortunately what I know about bears is that they don’t get along good enough to hunt together. Our main problem locally are meth heads and illegals. They can only come through my door one at a time. :-)

A pod of whales, a murder of crows, a insanity of reporters and a sleuth of bears...
What the guide didn’t tell you is that the shotgun was not for shooting the bears ...
