There needs to be an amendment to the Constitution, stating that if you can get certification that your total life activities are sufficiently apolitical that no one anywhere should be able to surveil you, then when "Microsoft Contractors Listened into Xbox Owner Conversations", those people should GO TO JAIL.

This is what happens when you let Mommy Government handle things. You demand more laws while at the same time wanting to opt out of the laws that others have demanded from Mommy Government.

The marketplace can manage issues; most people appropriately don’t give a flying rip if Microsoft listens to XBox or Amazon listens to Alexa instructions. Why? Because the sheer volume of data means it is extremely unlikely to be connected to any particular user.
