Maxime Bernier’s exclusion illustrates how much Canadian voters, real ordinary people, don’t matter
Yesterday the debate schedules leading up to the October 21 Canadian Federal Election were announced. In addition to when, the names of the moderators of the debates have also been released. And it’s not a pretty picture. (CBC, Aug. 20)
The English language debate will take place on October 7. And there will be not one, not two, not three, not four, but FIVE moderators. These moderators are with CBC, CTV, Global, the Toronto Star and Huff Post. All left wing organizations. And most of them have been paid off by the governing Liberals. The thought of having a debate host such as Rex Murphy or someone from the Sun Media who at least can be objective, never crossed the mind of the organizers. Even worse, it might have crossed their minds and was discarded.
I worked for the Conservatives during the Harper years.
By the treatment they have given to The Rebel and Bernier, the lacklustre character of Scheer,
the squishiness of the CPC and the exclusion of Bernier in the debates, I’m seriously considering voting for the PPC.
I have grave concerns that splitting the vote might allow Trudeau to slip back in but I have to vote my conscience.

Maxime’s party is the ONLY party that is committed to free speech, and has in its platform, asking to REDUCE refugee rates.
Sadly Canada is a very socialist country. Took me some time to finally come to this conclusion, and I live here. But no more denial for me. The only way Liberals get defeated is corruption, which thankfully they have a real knack for.
As much of a sock puppet Trudeau is you have to understand that Canadians, due to the nature of our system, vote Party. The leader is good for a few percentage points up or down, but what the Party stands for is really what voters are looking at.
Yeah, I am on the fence as well. Scheer is no spring picnic. I think what is having me veer to the PPC is that Scheer is waffling on the whole conversion therapy debate. I expect Trudeau to play this card and the race card closer we get to election day. So am I a rube to fall for Trudeau’s ploy and split the vote? Or am I rightfully pissed that Scheer seems fine in throwing social conservatives under the bus?

It’s a farce, really.
I received a letter this week from the Leaders’ Debates Commission saying I did not yet qualify for an invitation.
We have 310 candidates, while the Liberals have only 238 and are scrambling to nominate more.
The NDP has even fewer candidates.
The Greens have barely achieved in 35 years what the PPC did in 10 months.
And yet, they were all invited.
And wait for this.
The Bloc québécois too!
Their separatist leader will be at the English debate, even though they have no candidates outside Quebec.
In what kind of BIZARRO WORLD do we live?!!
The elites in this country have gone crazy.
Friend, I need your help to bring back common sense to Canadian politics.
