First Let me clarify that when Kirsten Gillibrand says she wants to ban Assault Weapons she means AR-15s. Unfortunately, a lot of politicians like Gillibrand think the AR in AR15 stands for Assault Rifle, which it doesnt it stands for Arma Lite Rifle, but she doesnt care because her job right now is to prove to the world how anti-gun she is. Because shes like a dying fish on land, flipping and flopped all of the place struggling to get some air for her failing campaign.

What I find annoying about Kristen Gilibrand? Her "uptalk" inflecton? There are two female co-workers who talk this way.
One is in leadership and the other is a regular employee.
It is a very annoying means of talking. They give the appearance of not being very intelligent speaking this way.

Will she lead the raiding parties herself? No. She's a coward. She'll happily send armed, uniformed, government goons to kill and die for her evil ideology.
And some of them, currently in uniform today "protecting and serving", will happily do her bidding.

Someone finally mentioned Arma Lite Rifle. Its been around since the 60s. Eugene Stoner, Colt... and all that history has been ignored for 60 years. And that history is still being ignored, by a lot of people, including the current owners of the company:
ArmaLite AR-9 = shotgun
ArmaLite AR-17 = shotgun
ArmaLite AR-24 = handgun
As Mark Westrom, the previous owner of ArmaLite (and a retired U.S. Army ordnance officer) noted repeatedly:
AR stands for ArmaLite.

The left has no intention of taking them from violent criminals.
I learned that long ago, the Brinks shootings at the the old Nanuet Mall in Rockland County, NY right near where I grew up. Perpetrated by remnants of the Weather Underground with ILLEGALLY OBTAINED FIREARMS. Not one peep of outrage from any gun control advocates of the day, not from Handgun Control, Ing, the Brady Campaign or any hack politicians or a-hole celebs, who were still raising holy hell over the shooting of John Lennon. I learned early on how the left thinks they're slick when it comes to picking and choosing their battles.

You're so right! He wasted his whole life being a snobby lobbyist and activist nerd, stuck to his desk instead of hanging out and "bonding" with the "gun guys." He should take a vow of poverty and stick to it instead of being like all the other CEOs. Very suspicious!

That may well happen, if the radical socialist Democrats are successful in their effort to start a civil conflict.
How Dramatically Did Women's Suffrage Change the Size and Scope of Government?
JOHN R. LOTT Jr.
American Enterprise Institute (AEI) (download links for whole document at bottom of page)
September 1998
University of Chicago Law School, John M. Olin Law & Economics Working Paper No. 60
Journal of Political Economy, Vol. 107, Number 6, Part 1, pp. 1163-1198, December 1999
Abstract:
This paper examines the growth of government during this century as a result of giving women the right to vote. Using cross-sectional time-series data for 1870 to 1940, we examine state government expenditures and revenue as well as voting by U.S. House and Senate state delegations and the passage of a wide range of different state laws. Suffrage coincided with immediate increases in state government expenditures and revenue and more liberal voting patterns for federal representatives, and these effects continued growing over time as more women took advantage of the franchise. Contrary to many recent suggestions, the gender gap is not something that has arisen since the 1970s, and it helps explain why American government started growing when it did.

Gilibrand et al is exactly the kind of people the Founders had in mind our need to defend against when they wrote the 2nd Amendment and enshrined it in the Bill of Rights...
The fact she and her ilk believe they somehow have the right to take away our rights proves the above...Never give in, never, never, never...
