Yes, he is much too important in his own mind to stoop to running for a mere U.S. Senate seat from Texas. So declared former failed U.S. Senate candidate and current failing presidential candidate during his reboot speech in El Paso. Of course, if/WHEN his presidential campaign flops as it appears to be doing, don't be surprised if Beto has a sudden change of heart and decides that the U.S. Senate is good enough for him.
