If they go 50/50 on repairs and eviction costs, it’ll be a “go”... Otherwise it’ll incentivize filling the houses with people who will pay one month, destroy the house, and not leave until a few thousand has been paid to an eviction attorney.

Ideally, the tiny house will rest on skids. If you decide not to keep it around, a fork lift could move it over to your neighbor’s yard, preferably at night.

Yeah, put a bum in a free house out in my backyard. Then I can’t get in my hot tub naked anymore. Everytime I smoke a brisket, they’ll come over and want to get chatty and friendly. Any other bright ideas?

Utilities will hook up to the property's principal dwelling, and they'll be metered and reimbursed.

It says nothing about hooking up to a sewage system. Very expensive and in some cases entirely impractical.

I see this voluntary program becoming mandatory if it is successful. Remember you never own your house or land. Property taxes ensure it.

Aye, there's the rub. You rent it out to a squeaky-clean-looking guy, and he sublets to a not-so-squeaky-clean buddy or brings in a few not-so-squeaky-clean "friends". As others have said, now try to get them out.
