In Arabic the word for slave and black are the same. It's Abu. Like Abdullah is slave of Allah for example. This article mentions the Zani. The Zani had a successful slave revolt that lasted many years until enough Sultan armies were gathered to crush it . It would make great movie which Hollywood will never make.
