Trump Order Also Grants Barr Power To Declassify Still-Secret Hillary Docs

For the past three years, Washington’s gatekeepers have covered up evidence of two potentially massive and overlapping public-corruption scandals that, if fully exposed, threaten to shake the nation to its core.

One involves the Obama administration spying on the Trump campaign while sexing-up Russian interference in the 2016 election to justify it. The other involves it pulling punches in the Hillary Clinton email investigation and clearing her of criminal wrongdoing just in time for the Democratic National Convention.

President Donald Trump has granted his plucky new attorney general the power to rip the cover off both these election-year scandals.

Trump’s recent declassification order not only helps Attorney General William Barr dig into the earliest days of the Trump-Russia investigation to see the full extent of surveillance measures ordered by Obama officials. It also puts him in a position to declassify still-secret documents generated during the highly irregular Clinton probe, which absolved her of mishandling state secrets transmitted through her unauthorized basement email-server before agents could even interview her.

White House lawyers wrote the May 23 order in a way that delegates sweeping authority to Barr to declassify or un-redact documents covering both 2016 presidential investigations. This is key, because the same former Justice Department and FBI officials who led the Russia “collusion” investigation also headed the Clinton inquiry.

Trump retweeted this today:
Thanks to the unhinged mob on the left, @realDonaldTrump raised $12M today, $2M more than originally expected.

The support for our President is unprecedented and growing!— Ronna McDaniel (@GOPChairwoman) August 9, 2019

You adolescent-minded sycophants gratuitously insult others over and over, and expect to be taken seriously?

Dunham continues to do his work in a logical and methodical manner re: FISA. Anyway, you're presenting multiple symptoms of impatient butt hurt and pining for immediate amelioration. Try this:

The President would do well to dip into the pool of patriots that frequent this web site........

Couldn’t agree more. Only issue I have is the resistance from the professional politicians and the career bureaucrats that think they’re better than everyone. Neither you nor me rise to their “level of competency”, in their feeble minds, so we must not be any good. If you’d like to see that in full effect, look no further than the US Dept of State.

Your solution or my solution to problems are easy and simple. Their solutions are complex, ambiguous and difficult to implement and because of that, they have to hire 14 of their former college classmates, make them Deputy Director to the Under Secretary to the Assistant Director and no one does anything but schedules meetings and when nothing is accomplished, they blame the lowest person on the totem pole and ask for more money.

The President tried to implement a policy to get rid of folks like that and the courts overruled him. Wonder how many people know that. Wonder how many people, who can’t stand the size and incompetency of the federal government, are willing to step up and support the President in that effort by calling their Congressfolks to press that issue. The courts shouldn’t and were never granted that much power. They’ve allowed to usurp it, but we can get it back if we wanted to.

I can give my 2 minute solution to school security...the National Guard working in conjunction with local sheriff’s and police departments. Wouldn’t cost the taxpayer a dime they aren’t already spending.

Everyone of us has an idea, firmly planted in our heads, of how all of this has played out. And that is probably changing by the day or week as more and more information is coming out.

None of us knows exactly what was said at that meeting at Mar A Lago, but shortly thereafter the President moved and started to tighten things up. But, how do we know that Adm Rogers isn’t still helping him in some way? It’s been said that Gen Flynn, was able to put folks inside the DIA and NSA, no one knows who they are, but they are patriots and are doing their best to make sure this country doesn’t implode.

Do you think that when the NYPD TARU folks got into Weiner’s laptop, that they didn’t copy everything before handing it over to the FBI and perhaps that information, somehow, made its way to someone that could get it to the President. Contrary to what many may think, Donald J Trump is kind of a folk hero in NYC and is very well like by the Finest and the Bravest.

IMHO, if the President gets another term[God willing] I think he will have an opportunity to completely transform this country for the better. I think his plan has been a bit stymied, not just by Republicans in Congress and their donors, but also by the fact that Ginsburg is still there. If he gets another 4 years and she leaves, there’s no telling what he’ll be doing.

Toss that in with what should/could/might be going on with the fallout from the attempted coup and he could really start turning this ship around.

This entire plot to take down Trump with international agents reads like a stupid version of a James Bond movie.

These agents are bunglers, Keystone Kops. The serious spy movies are fooling us into thinking these guys are smart. They have zero imagination.

George Papadopolous has said so. The ruses they tried to pull on him were so obvious. Strzok and Weismann should be charged with incompetency, then sedition... in that order. Then handcuffed, them put on a bus to Fort Leavenworth.

But it seems like all the other high profile picks have done nothing but undermine him...

I think Trump sees a lot of his picks as transition people. He's told us he likes people in the "acting role" as in "Acting Secretary of State" and so forth.

Rex Tillerson was called in because he was a known figure to Russia and the Middle East. Early on, it was important to establish initial trust and that led to the big summit in Saudi Arabia.

But it was pretty clear that Tillerson had outworn his welcome, so Pompeo was brought on -- a sterling pick.

Same goes for Mattis. Under his watch ISIS was destroyed, but soon after, it was time for someone with different skills.

Yes, it's a helluva challenge taming the Permanent State, but as long as key figures like Barr come through, Trump will continue to move the MAGA needle.

I believe it as these AFGE SES heads in DC are all in on the grease. I served with a man who was a CIA big shot then he was like the #3 man in NSA. The two men from my unit who are Gov big shots are part of the 5-6 out of 2000 + men in our association who favored Obama. Also, the Clintons have been in crime since they were in Arkansas. They have never been convicted period.

..... appears some do want a one world government....

That was then ...this is now. Idiot Democraps cannot see beyond their own self-interest. They have NO partners in this effort.....a Force Ten hurricane is blowing in the opposite direction.

====================================

It's happening so fast, it's difficult to compose a definitive thread....... but the overwrought global push for open borders has turned the globe into Trumpland.

They are Trump-wannabes----candidates swept to victories in the UK, France, Italy, Hungary, Sweden, Poland and the Netherlands. The new EU political stars are Salvini, Le Pen, Farage and Hungary's nationalist Prime Minister Viktor Orban. All are in talks to form a team of international nationalist leaders....and Trump is the acknowledged world leader..

<><> Mette Frederiksen: the anti-immigration left leader set to win power in Denmark. Under her leadership, the SD have called for a cap on “non-western immigrants”, for asylum seekers to be expelled to a reception centre in North Africa, and for all immigrants to be forced to work 37 hours a week in exchange for benefits.

<><>In France, President Emmanuel Macron's party suffered a humiliating defeat to Marine Le Pen.

<><>In the U.K., Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage won a landslide victory in the EU Parliament, leading a Trump-like party that was established just six weeks ago.

<><>Boris Johnson, the Trump-like former mayor of London, emerged, against all odds, as the new prime minister of Britain.

<><>In Italy, Matteo Salvini's nationalist party became one of the leaders of the EU Parliament, winning an astounding 28 seats.

<><> Opposition conservatives prevail in Greek local election runoffs Reuters. Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras’ leftist Syriza party suffered its first major defeat in years to the conservative New Democracy party in last Sunday’s European Parliament vote, prompting him to say he would call an early election. The snap election is expected to take place on July 7. On Sunday, the seats of the mayor of Athens and the district governor for the wider Athens area were the top prizes up for grabs in the runoffs of local elections. Results showed New Democracy candidates winning both seats, handing the conservatives another boost before Greeks return to vote in the expected election next month.

<><>Elections in India - Voters Reject Handouts! Indian News Sources ^ | 5/19/2019 | Me Posted on 5/19/2019, 9:29:06 AM by Republic_Venom If any of you are watching the end of the elections in India (https://www.republicworld.com/livetv) ......and looking at the exit polls, looks like the voters have re-elected the incumbent PM. He, like Trump, was hounded by the media and liberal elite. The surprising results from the exit polls is that the poor and destitute in India voted for him and not the parties that were offering hand-outs and uber-socialist sops. Australia rejected the liberals, now India has...so has Brazil.

<><>UK's Boris Johnson has been elected new Conservative leader in a ballot of party members and will become the next UK prime minister. He beat Jeremy Hunt comfortably, winning 92,153 votes to his rival's 46,656. The former London mayor takes over from Theresa May on Wednesday. Boris wasted no time-----he appointed pro-life conservative Jacob Rees-Mogg to his all-star cabinet alongside Patel, Leadsom and Raab. In victory, Johnson promised to energise the country. "We are once again going to believe in ourselves."

<><> Bolsonaro in Brazil.

Hope their own self-interest are dashed forever in the next election. The media has proved how childish the left has become and that makes them dangerous to all.
Now that other nations has seen the light on how socialism is a trap door.
