All I know for certain is that each of us has but a finite number of days on this earth and nobody knows for sure what that number is. It is wise to not squander any of them, which makes it a good day to shut off the TV, put your computer away and turn off your phone. Maybe go to the beach and jot down a few thoughts.

Seagulls are greedy, jealous, thieving birds. Does anyone remember the book, “Jonathan Livingston Seagull”? I read the Reader’s Digest condensed version. But I SEE how they act with each other when I watch them at the beach.

That book cover brings back memories. I was forced to read it in grade school back in the 1970s. Then Neil Diamond set it to music. That wasn’t so bad, actually. I still have that album.
