As outrage among Trump supporters and conservatives spread this week following news that Justice Department officials would decline to prosecute James Comey, despite a recommendation to do so by the DoJ inspector general in a coming report, House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) told Fox News‘ Tucker Carlson Friday that isn’t the last of it for the fired FBI director.
In fact, Nunes was clear: He believes that Comey will definitely be held accountable for crimes related to the deep state coup attempt against POTUS Donald Trump colloquially known as “Spygate.”
Carlson led off the interview asking Nunes why the Justice Department would elect not to prosecute Comey for leaking classified memos, something he has admitted to doing (in order to trigger a special counsel investigation against the president, which, of course, happened).

One day the DoJ will fart in his general direction.
I do believe they have stronger cases coming up and if the case for leaking is weak, then I agree that this was the right thing to do.

Yes, that’s true, but you have to look at just how long Barr has been in charge when you “evaluate” what’s going on now. I am willing to give Barr & Co. more time to do a through job of investigating the whole matter, including Hillary, the DNC, and the people they hired to try and sink Trump. As the joke about the young bull and the old bull talking where the young bull says “let’s run down and eff one of the cows,” and the old bull says “lets walk down and eff all of them!”
Trump needs to put our domestic enemies down to prevent them from attacking and harassing him and his family the rest of their lives.

This is why impeachment would be a good thing. It would be the only way the truth will ever come out. That is why Trump will NEVER be impeached.

I believe Nunes does know something. The look on his face when he went to meet at the White House when this first started was quite telling. It was sort of like the look Robert Kardashian had on his face when the jury found OJ not guilty. Utter shock. Now whether it ever comes to anything? Who knows.
The media is a purveyor of corruption. It is not irritated in the least at Mueller's "not exonerated" trick.
I would not expect impeachment to cause the truth to out either. I'm not opposed to impeachment, I think the country hasn't hit rock bottom yet and taking more steps in that direction can't hurt any worse than the political path the country is on. Open borders, raise taxes, less freedom, and more kangaroo courts where the standard is "not exonerated" is potentially in our posterity's future. That is always the case. The strong and dishonest have generally been in charge of the world.

They WEAPONIZED federal agencies and used their powerful resources to target political opponents. This is about as egregious as it gets in terms of undermining our republic.
Yet not one member of the cabal will be prosecuted. The political elites are immune to accountability. They insulate and protect themselves.

I hear you and have said the same...it’s very possible that Barr has a master plan, given what he’s done so far to go after the Deep State, starting with the effective firing of Mueller. I was just commenting on why so many here are so angry - and I’ll be angry too, if Comey doesn’t sing and bring down the ones at the very top of this. But yes, I’m also giving Barr time, for now.

He can be held “accountable” by losing his reputation.
