The Senate on Wednesday confirmed nine more of President Donald Trump’s judicial nominees to the federal bench.
The judicial confirmations come as Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has called for the Senate to confirm 19 judges before it leaves Washington for a monthlong recess at the end of this week. The latest package of nominees also signals the Republican-controlled Senate is now turning its attention to the confirmation of district judges, after initially focusing on filling circuit court vacancies.

Sounds like the Dems understand that they don’t stand a chance of stopping any of them (thanks to our RINOs, that despite our rage towards them, vote about 98% for Trump’s judges) - so now they’d just rather start their summer vacation as soon as possible.

Judges are critical and I am glad R-s in Congress got their act together and are confirming Trump’s nominees.
Is there room for both Trump and the Turtle on Mt. Rushmore?
McConnell has the personality of a glass of room temperature water. But he is one of the savviest pols in the beltway. He knows the levers of power and how to use them. Most pols in DC go to bed humming Hail to the Chief. McConnell goes to bed reciting arcane rules of parliamentary procedure to himself. If you want something done that requires Congressional action, he is probably your first phone call.
Yay! Finally! This is a great week. At the end of this week, we’ll be down to 108 judicial vacancies. This will be the first time during Trump’s presidency that the Senate has gotten the vacancies down below the vacancy number that existed when Trump took office (112 vacancies).
Let’s hope the Senate keeps it up and doesn’t rest on its laurels. I’d like to see them get the vacancies down to 15 - 20 in process vacancies and keep it down there as additional judges retire or assume senior status.
The sad part is the GOP Senate could have been doing this since 2000.

You are correct sir Mitch is probably the best brilliant guy in Congress in terms of going all the arcane rules and the way to get things done
