President Trump responded to MSNBC host Rev. Al Sharpton saying he is headed to Baltimore, shredding the former Democratic Party candidate as a conman who hates cops and white people. Sharpton’s trip to Baltimore comes after Trump blasted Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD), whose House District includes West Baltimore, for the city’s horrible living conditions. Trump in turn has been attacked by Democrats and the media with the smear “racist”.

Yep, pointing out that a career Politician of 36 Years who just happens to be Black and is a dismal failure in representing his constituents is certainly not allowed in todays PC World.
Al is just going to Baltimore to add to the Dumpster Fire.

I hold an opposing opinion. I think President Trump’s approval among voting blacks ha just increased tremendously. Most blacks I know can’t stand Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, etc... as they have long recognized the truth about what The President Trump recently tweeted.
You are absolutely 100% correct. It is astoundingly refreshing to me to have someone on top who is not afraid to punch back at the leftist stool samples who have been pulling this crap since Nixon was president. Maybe they did it to Eisenhower too but I was too young then to experience any criticism of him. The beauty of Trump’s slash and burn campaign against these critters is that it exposes everyone who responds in mock horror at the “racist” Trump statements.

if by “they” you mean the actual voters, then that’s not altogether accurate, since the Dem Party bosses ultimately
decide who gets to run in the primary, and the general election is a mere formality.

I seriously doubt that. Any black that was going to vote for Trump agrees with Trump on this - they know who Sharp-tongue is.

Yeah, but what has changed now is that Trump has highlighted in the national media how ineffective Cummings has been for his congressional district.
He may be looking at a primary challenge when next he runs. His constituents may have had enough of him.
But who knows. You may be right. The 7th district in West Baltimore may send him back again.
And don't forget, the IRS is investigating Cummings and his wife for personally profiting from his being the head of the Oversight Committee and her non-profit.
Companies who have business in front of his Oversight Committee are turning around and funding her non-profit. The monies are being shifted to a for-profit company, which has the same name, so they can spend it like they want. How does Cummings have a $1.3 million net worth on a congressman's salary?
This is the Rats nightmare.
They know many blacks secretly agree with what Trump is saying. They’ve been cowered into silence, but they won’t be able to stop them for voting for Trump.
Trump hit the jackpot when the villainous, outspoken Al Sharpton set himself up as a major Trump critic. Al thrives on media attention; his favorite sight is a microphone in his face.
Now we’ll have daily Al Sharpton quotes, along with the usual AOC and Ilhan Omar quotes-of-the-day. They’ll become the three faces of the Democratic party.
I believe Trump’s game here is to keep that side in perpetual anger and hate. That will not draw moderates or independents or undecides to their camp. In the end, Trump will be the stable adult in the room while the democrats look like whiny cry babies who only platform is to trow insults at a president they don’t like.
Whoever on the Dem side that avoids getting into twitter spats with Trump, presents ideas and a catching slogan, draws a crowd, who has passion and enthusiasm would be a real challenger to President Trump. Unfortunately, nobody on that side has done any of those things.
But I doubt with the 50% unemployment, filth and rats, that these poor people follow national politics at all.
Cummings has been around a long time. He's probably got a lock on the 7th District no matter how bad it is.
I see Trump is after Al Charlatan, the race baiter, now. Al's headed down to the "hood" in Baltimore to stir up trouble against Trump.
I think it's more the middle class blacks that will vote for Trump, they certainly are not fans of the Sharptons, but up to this point, there's been nobody in the GOP who has championed them.
Trump is trying to do that.
