Why I choose to use a Fertility Awareness Method, even though I have a serious reason to avoid pregnancy
The only fix for my issues was a hysterectomy. They attempted to get me onto a regular cycle with the pill, because I had a cycle that lasted for over a year, with regular blood transfusions required. The pill brought other issues, like mood swings, weight gain, and acne, along with (amazingly) even heavier bleeding, despite having breaks between cycles. It wasn’t worth it.
I couldn’t have children anyway, so there was no huge loss on my part.
Dont forget toothache and toenail fungus.
I am wondering when trans men will demand that health insurance cover the cost of their birth control.
