Skip Bayless has high expectations for the New England Patriots in the upcoming season. The reigning Super Bowl champions, at least on paper, own one of the easiest regular-season schedules in 2019 and Bayless expects Tom Brady and Co. to take full advantage. The Undisputed co-host believes the Patriots will go 13-3, with their losses coming Opening Night against the Pittsburgh Steelers in addition to a pair of Sunday Night Football road defeats at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans in Week 9 and 13, respectively.
There will probably be more Sunday afternoon comedy from the Detroit Lions.
It wasnt always that way. For the first 2/3 of my life the Pats sucked. The NE Fans of the past 15 years will be pissed with a good season.
I would not get my hopes up based on this. He also predicted that Dallas will win the NFC.
The Patriots always have one of the easiest schedules in football, look at their division.
There was a quip going around in the run up to this years Super Bowl that is was time to seriously consider renaming it the New England Invitational.
It's even cheaper to produce than 'reality' TV.
True.
Bayless knows how to get people to watch.
Probably lose early at Miami...unless the Patriots are exceptionally good this year.
Probably wont lose to Texans.
13-3 looks right, assuming they gel.
Pre-season strength of schedule they always have the advantage. They never have to play themselves.
They aren't like the Atlanta Braves, who won 14-straight Division Titles with only 1 World Series title to show for it.
Playing the Jets,Bills and Dolphins for about half their season is just good luck

Those teams generally do about as well against them as playoff teams. Overall, the Pats have about the same winning percentage against them as they do against the rest of their #1 schedule. Prior to last year, since current division alignment in 2002 or 2003, they had exactly the same winning percentage.
I’m in total agreement... Except they will also beat the Steelers, Ravens and Texans. Perfect season... Super Bowl... Mike drop!!!
The Browns are going to get real good, real fast, maybe not quite this year, but within the next few years, I think they will at least win the AFC.
Skip Bayless? I usually do.
It is true that the C-boys have plugged some talent holes but I don’t see them in the SB. NFC-East, yep. NFC, unlikely. But this may be the year that Dallas wins a playoff game - the first in what 15 years?
Not if they can’t get Ezekiel Elliott to come to Camp.
I think there’s no way the Cowboys will re-sign him, and he knows it. They will basically do to him what they did to DeMarco Murray, use him all up, and then let him go elsewhere.
With Zeke’s baggage there is no way I would commit more money to him.
He’s not the same old Bruschi.
The gift of being in a conference that’s otherwise terrible. No matter what other divisions they rotate through they know they’re going 5-1 in division at worst.
Thats what it says on my deposit slip too. BEAR DOWN!
The Super Bowl has been re-named: It’s now the New England Invitational.
