MSNBC: Rachel Maddow shares highlights from Special Counsel Robert Mueller's hours of testimony before two House committees about his report on the Trump-Russia investigation, pointing out some unexpectedly aggressive answers about criminal behavior and ongoing investigations.
The MSNBC host said Mueller's personal performance puts a spotlight on his deputy, the man sitting next to him, who ran day to day operations of the staff.
Maddow said ... the outcome of Wednesday's hearings will be a renewed interest in hearing from people on Mueller's team that "did the work" and not just the figurehead himself.

IF EVER "THEY" dragged Mueller's staff/deputy/'people did the real work'/whatever for another go-round, Republicans shouldn't let him/them get away with the 'outside my purview' garbage take.

No way. This scenario where the witness can refuse to answer any hard or damaging question is absurd.
I don’t see how democrats organizing another hearing, this one to show that their hero for 2 years was in fact a fraud, will help their PR or political position. Do they really want to get the real writers of the Russian fantasy port up there to reveal themselves and get caught lying to the public?
But their Trump Derangement Syndrome is really that strong.

I am waiting for some doctor to state that Mueller has early stages of dementia at which point the Dems will say that they will need to appoint a new special counsel because of Mueller’s weakened mental position. Thy will try everything in their playbook before facing reality!
Well, at least she is admitting that Mueller is nothing but a figurehead. When he answered that he had been present for ‘very few’ of the interviews, it showed he really wasn’t involved. The whole thing was done by Hillary supporters trying to overthrow an elected President. Where are the sedition charges??
