A Michigan couple says in addition to celebrating their love, they decided to use their wedding day as an opportunity to celebrate President Donald Trump.
The bride, Audra Johnson, says the idea for the Make America Great Again wedding came when the couple decided on a patriotic-themed celebration.
We both love our country, Audra says.
Audra and her husband, Jeff Johnson, tied the knot in front of friends and family on July 4 in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Audras wedding dress was sure to capture everyones attention. The bride wore a white dress with the words "Make America Great Again" in red lettering. She says the dress was inspired by the blue MAGA dress singer Joy Villa wore to this years Grammys.
Audra says Jeff, a U.S. marine, knew how much she loved the dress, so he contacted the designer, Andre Soriano.
This is why I love this man, she says of Jeff when she learned of the surprise.
Audra and Jeff flew to D.C. to meet with Soriano and discuss their plans for the wedding dress, which was made from the MAGA flag, Audra says.
Audras dress wasnt the only MAGA-themed apparel. The bridal party wore red MAGA hats, all but one bridesmaid. One of my bridesmaids is a hardcore Democrat, Audra explains.
The bride said she respected her lifelong friends decision not to wear the hat, and they agreed a plain red hat would be donned for the wedding photos. Audra says her friend even sported an anti-Trump shirt during the wedding rehearsal, but it was all in light-hearted fun. Weve been friends forever and thats how it should be, Audra says. Weve been friends forever.

Soooo... How many lefties refused service or walked away in protest?
I hope the couple is very happy together for many years. I hope the women wearing those blue things go home and turn them into pillowcases, because they are an utter failure as dresses.
The fat slob on the left in the blue dress is the brides RAT friend.
Otherwise a great wedding theme.
How do you know that? Do you live there?
Joy Villa was photographed wearing the pro-life dress at the awards ceremony, telling Fox News she wanted to make a statement as she usually did.
Her white dress featured a picture of a fetus on the skirt, and was matched with a handbag with the slogan "choose life."
I saw this today.......I love it. Congrats kids.....wishing you many happy years together......;)
The marine’s dad wouldn’t come becuz they support a racist???
How did this husband become a marine with a dad like that?
Parent’s must be divorced.

See if you can pick out the two show people on this clip.
watch the video...the groom’s father refused to attend and the brides brother doesn’t talk to her anymore...
the bride is Filipino and the husband is a black American...
Anyways. Here is a salute song for the couple.
Well, she IS the only one of the group *without* the MAGA slogan on the cap.
My sister sent me this a few minutes ago and I was going to post it — then saw you had beat me to it.
This is SO COOL! Be sure to watch the video to see the young bride talking and beaming with pride. It is wonderful.
Congrats to the couple. May they be blessed with many happy years together.
And kudos to any guest who didn’t agree but still showed up for the big day.
My two cents: politics should be left out of weddings. I wouldn’t want to attend a Democrat-themed ceremony. But, in the end, it’s the couple’s decision.
She lists two in her interview:
1. Her mother's husband (she specifically did NOT say "stepfather").
2. Her brother.
Such small-minded, petty people. Her mother's husband said "He wouldn't support that racist in the White House." The word "racist" is such a comforting refuge for incredibly small people.
I wouldnt have brought politics into my wedding
Its a time to bring folks together
But really its HER DAY so ...... MAGA And KAG !
