Who's going to clean up the nation’s outdated, over-counted voting rolls ahead of the 2020 election?

Los Angeles County has too many voters. An estimated 1.6 million, according to the latest calculations – which is roughly the population of Philadelphia. That’s the difference between the number of people on the county’s voter rolls and the actual number of voting age residents.

This means that L.A. is in violation of federal law, which seeks to limit fraud by requiring basic voter list maintenance to make sure that people who have died, moved, or are otherwise ineligible to vote aren’t still on the rolls.

Los Angeles County has made only minimal efforts to clean up its voter rolls for decades. It began sending notices to those 1.6 million people last month to settle a lawsuit brought by the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch.

Los Angeles County may be California’s worst offender, but 10 of the state’s 58 counties also have registration rates exceeding 100% of the voting age population. In fact, the voter registration rate for the entire state of California is 101%.

And the Golden State isn’t alone. Eight states, as well as the District of Columbia, have total voter registration tallies exceeding 100%, and in total, 38 states have counties where voter registration rates exceed 100%. Another state that stands out is Kentucky, where the voter registration rate in 48 of its 120 counties exceeded 100% last year. About 15% of America’s counties where there is reliable voter data – that is, over 400 counties out of 2,800 – have voter registration rates over 100%.

The real question is how many of the registered voters are voting.
True that relocating or death and not removing the registration is
the problem.

There are some ways to work at reducing this registration number but
it takes some effort. Voter cards could be sent out each two year cycle.
Those returned should be held and after a cycle or two if they keep
coming back they should be removed from the registration list.

That is one way. But another is to send out new cards after each
two year cycle that can’t be forwarded. If returned for no longer
living at that address then remove them from the roles.

We need to understand that the occasions are rare, almost never, when a single voter drives around registering or voting in multiple precincts.

Also, we need to stop whining about Democrats driving “busloads” of voters to the polls. It’s not illegal, and Republicans should be doing it too.

It’s only illegal to stand over them telling them whom to mark on the ballot.

When I was canvassing for a candidate, I learned the Democrats were driving voters from all the nursing homes & a local hospital.

Massive voting fraud that CAN sway elections occurs in two ways, both premeditated thru organized, coordinated efforts.

1. False identities & false addresses are used to register nonexistent people.
Activists sit at tables filling out voter registration forms using hundreds of different names, but only a few differing addresses.
The addresses are where multiple mail in ballots will later be requested and sent.
2. Illegal aliens being issued one or more IDs with fake names & addresses, which they can use to collect welfare or vote under multiple identities.
Illegals can also be enticed to help activists fill out hundreds of bogus voter registration forms and mail in ballots.

These things need to happen:

1. We need software that focuses on & verifies ADDRESSES. Bogus addresses are a major source of fraud— empty lots, non-existent addresses, gas stations, hospitals, office buildings, any non-housing address, as well as any address with suspiciously large number of voters.

2. Coordination between drivers license, post office (change of address form) and voter registration office.
Millions of people have post office boxes. But those must be tied to a physical address. We need the Post Office to verify that the physical address is an inhabited home, not an empty lot or nonexistent address.

3. Post office needs to have a form that changes your address and updates your voting precinct in voter registration rolls, whenever you move.

If there were well over 3 million unlawful voters in the 2016 election sequence, and Hillary claims she won the popular vote by about 3 million votes, maybe Trump won the ‘actual’ popular vote.

The left very well may pull it off to steal 2020. I see nothing that anyone has done to fix the system nor seen anyone who actually cares outside of a limited conservative echo chamber.

Remember how the left always screams disenfranchisement when voter ID is required, then when the list of IDs that are valid is considered never makes the observation that one commonality of the acceptable IDs is that there is some form of Address verification with the accepted ID. I have never seen a College ID that had Address verification.

I think you might be surprised how many people who for one reason or another have their official address at a mail drop (office, club house, etc.). I believe the largest two groups here would be RV owners and Truck Drivers who in practice live in their vehicles. That said any place with a suspicious number of voters registered there is ripe for an audit, much like a place that generated a suspicious number of tax returns.

Give the Election Office (different names in different states) fair warning to clean up the voter rolls.

Then come back the following week. If there is insufficient progress, close the office and arrest EVERYBODY in it. Arresting just the Election Commissioner wouldn’t work because everybody else would just get a day off. Make it annoying, inconvenient, embarrassing and expensive for all of the guilty parties.

Other towns and states will notice and fall into line.

I’ve wondered why, when the Republicans controlled BOTH Houses of Congress, they didn’t enact a law to reregister all eligible voters. We need a new roster of those ELIGIBLE to vote, not just warm bodies in Congressional Districts.
