This week’s Liberal Media Scream features journalist Carl Bernstein of Watergate fame calling for a deep dive on why people support President Trump.
On CNN’s Reliable Sources, Bernstein accused Trump of bringing a “cold civil war almost to the point of ignition” by promoting “undemocratic notions and authoritarian notions.”
And he urged an exploration of why people support him “no matter what he does, no matter how outrageous seemingly his conduct is.” He urged the media to do “some real reporting” by making “our table bigger in terms of our reportorial landscape.”
Carl Bernstein: “No president in the history of the United States in 246 years has expressed the kinds of ideas and thoughts and undemocratic notions and authoritarian notions that he has. We need to start connecting these dots. What do people in the country think of this and why do they think and support him, no matter what he does, no matter how outrageous seemingly his conduct is. Carl’s having a “What’s the matter with Kansas?” moment. He would like for swarms of CNN/MSNBC infobabes to go out into the flyover states and jam microphones into locals’ faces and demand, “How can you POSSIBLY support Donald Trump!!? What’s wrong with you people!!!”

“All reporters need to get off their butts, travel to the real America, find out what values are meaningful to residents, and then question and write on why Trump is supported.”
If they did, they would recommend that Trump supporters be arrested & sent to reeducation camps run by Cuban communists.
