This week’s Liberal Media Scream features journalist Carl Bernstein of Watergate fame calling for a deep dive on why people support President Trump.
On CNN’s Reliable Sources, Bernstein accused Trump of bringing a “cold civil war almost to the point of ignition” by promoting “undemocratic notions and authoritarian notions.”
And he urged an exploration of why people support him “no matter what he does, no matter how outrageous seemingly his conduct is.” He urged the media to do “some real reporting” by making “our table bigger in terms of our reportorial landscape.”
Carl Bernstein: “No president in the history of the United States in 246 years has expressed the kinds of ideas and thoughts and undemocratic notions and authoritarian notions that he has. We need to start connecting these dots. What do people in the country think of this and why do they think and support him, no matter what he does, no matter how outrageous seemingly his conduct is. Unlike Bernie, who thinks he is striving to bring us to utopia, Bernstein is trying to relive his personal glory of the Nixon years. He isn’t close to being rational.

President Trump has provided America with no outrageous conduct in his role as POTUS. He has given us plenty of truth, and has lifted the veil off of the DC Swamp. And he is unabashedly pro-American. Those who oppose him seem to be highly irrational, filled with TDS.
